Ah, Clark! One of my favorite places ever! It was a huge air base in the Philippines - until Mt. Pinatubo did its thing. During the Vietnam War, it was extremely busy with troops passing through on the way to the war, on the way home, etc. It was almost country club living in those days - inexpensive housing, house girls, monkey pod and capiz collectables and gifts, fantastic sewing ladies, and an easy trip to Bangkok, Hong Kong and other interesting places. I'm going to add more pictures as I get them scanned, but here are a few below. Click on the thumbnail to see a full version - and my comments, of course! I'll also add some interesting links. Here's a starter: http://www.whoa.org/ - a web site developed by the alumni of Wagner High School at Clark.
