The Ventana Lakes Subdivision is a small retirement community without golf facilities, but numerous recreational sites. There are three heated pools with Jacuzzi's, as well as a Workout facility, Steam Room and Sauna. The main Recreation Center also has a Library and Small Kitchen. Additional buildings nearby house Card rooms, Billiards and a Craft Center. In the Landings area, there is a large Ballroom facility with stage, kitchen and auxiliary rooms. The centerpiece of the community are its lakes. The main lakes have sidewalks along the waters edge, and are ideal for walking. All of the homes on the lakes have wrought iron fences to separate them from the common lake area. A homeowner association insures that high standards of landscaping are maintained. It is located just North of Sun City, Arizona.
