Sylvia and her husband, douglas, live in the suburbs of Southern California. From his garage doug dug downward and tunneled beneath his neighborhood. he was badly injured and hospitalized because of a recent cave-in. Because of the cave-in, many of his neighbors know about his digging, but most of them think it is simply a shallow bomb shelter. In truth, the tunnels are extensive and are probably beneath their homes.

Through the years Sylvia stood beside him, helped and defended him as can be seen in many of the 1271 episodes of "doug&Sylvia". The series, "Sylvia", represents a new view of their domain. Don't be fooled, Sylvia's perspective will present situations and characters not previously available. The story is about Sylvia.

At least one AWAD word will be used in each "daily" rendering. The AWAD words sometimes have an effect on outcomes, themes and characters. Incidentally, my use of AWAD words has the blessing of Anu Garg (wordsmith supreme), but there is no connection between us other than my use of his efforts.
