We’re back with some new and updated Biggart Family Pix! So much has been going on, it’s seems like we are in constant motion. Hendrix’s speech is improving everyday, we couldn’t be happier with his progress. He does not go to speech at Children’s anymore, but he is in the speech intensive program at Wintergardens School, he rides his bus with bus driver Tony on Mondays and Wednesdays. He has been having a blast on his new swing set he got for his 3rd Birthday…he has so much energy; he definitely gets a lot of use out of it.
Fall & Winter were lots of fun; we did our annual Vegas trip for Thanksgiving with the Family. We had the Family all together again for Christmas. Hendrix loved the Holidays this year and really understood all the excitement. We have been doing Shabbat Shalom on Friday nights; Hendrix loves to say the prayers for the candles, wine and challah. We where lucky enough to go Cathy & Bob’s Big Bear house again this winter, we built a snow bear and went sledding and visited the moonridge zoo and drove around the lake enjoying all of the views and stopped at the discovery center.
It seems like we were up at Disney or California Adventure constantly, Hendrix has been 5 times this year already Jason is at 7! I think I may have another Disney geek on my hands… Jason confirmed his status as a Disney geek by getting Pirates of the Caribbean tattoo. Hendrix calls California Adventure “Bears House” and Disneyland “Mouse House” he even rides the Matterhorn, he would ride the other fast rides, but he does not make the height requirement, maybe next time.
I was recently elected as the Vice President of the Ostomy Association of San Diego; this is really exciting for me, and a big honor. We had a beautiful installation luncheon at Tom Hamm’s lighthouse on Harbor Island; it was such a nice event. I continue to be involved in the ostomy community; I’m looking forward to the annual Youth Rally at SDSU, and our first annual YODAA conference in Cleveland this August.
Hope you enjoy our pictures, I enjoy sharing our experiences with all of you, and I hope you enjoy watching our family grow and change. Continue to stop by, and we will update when possible. Hope to see you all this Summer!
Lots of Love, Sarah
