Title: Street Race

It was decided, that the race would be 2 blocks long, from
a dead stop, starting at Biker's front entrance and ending
at the stop sign near the new condos. 3 blocks to see who
could go through the gears, avert any random traffic or other
unforseen occurrences like police or irate citizens, cross the
alley, and then stop at the stop sign just 15 feet from the alley.
Vern, Tod, Claire, Joey (on a bike he borrowed from one of his
buddies), and Bell riding Harley.

The noise was deafening as the five participants raced and
revved their engines in preparation for the start. Sis stood 10
feet in front with a metal beer mug held high. She let the mug
drop and the instant it hit the pavement, the race was on.

3 bikes jumped to the front, began to swerve and lose control,
and suddenly all 5 racers were moving, higgledy-piggledy
down, across, skidding, falling, with sparks, screeches, yelling,
rubber smoke, until all bikes were down.
