Title: weekend dreams or Her Wet Spot

She woke up on the sidewalk with Harley beside her, front wheel slowly spinning
and gas tank drip drip leaking near her. She moved her hands and feet but
could not raise her head or bend knees or arms or waistline. She was
pinned by Harley's handlebars and saddlebags. "Shit," she whispered to no
one in particular. She was alone. She and Harley were lying on the
sidewalk just outside the IRPS Library and it appeared to be very early
morning, 3 or 4am.

Footsteps nearing. Tall, oriental, boots, briefcase, beard, hurried steps
toward her. Drip, drip, smell of gasoline, front wheel stops but nearly
not noticed.

"I can assist?" he queried. "Yes, can you help me get this off me, please?"
Smiling, he lifted Harley off and she quickly rolled from under the bike.
As she stood the tall man smiles again, backs away a couple steps and
guffaws.

"You have Big Wet Spot right where it counts!" he chided.
"And you think it's funny? THANKS! Thanks for the help and NO THANKS for
the laughter!"

Harley had leaked gas all over the front of her levis, especially from the
waist to her knees. Just as she opened her mouth to speak, Harley quietly
exploded, creating a bright, exaggerated ball of flame. For an instant
Harley had disappeard into the light, but just as quickly the fire was out
except for the front tire which was hissing and dripping molten rubber onto
the sidewalk

"I will pay for damages, I have just won the Japanese Lottery and in my
briefcase I have much American Currency. You should back away from fire,
please. The Wet SPot might also explode."
