Title: Claire vs. Cat
Claire, on her hands and knees, was stalking one of
the neighborhood cats. It was 3am in the alley behind
her apartment where Joey was asleep and unaware
of what Claire was up to. The cat had been prowling and
making loud yeowly noises which kept Claire awake
and irritated. She was in her camouflage sweats, armed
with a dartgun she had devised, which was loaded with
an explosive device attached to a dart.
She found the creature, leveled the gun and squeezed
the trigger. Just as the dart was discharged the cat jumped
from the top of the trash can, tipping the can toward
Claire. The dart ricocheted off the lid and sped straight
toward the bedroom window of Claire's apartment.
Luckily the dart hit one of the bars across the window and
detonated outside the window.
The cat, a large yellow striped tom with jowls the size of
walnuts, leaped to the top of the fence and looked back at
Claire. Claire was outraged as the cat turned its back on her
and urinated on, sprayed, the immediate area, and
bounded away looking back at Claire with it's large green
eyes as if to say, "You have messed with the invincible!"

"I'll get you, you..." and the alley was suddenly a riot of
lights and neighbors yelling for someone to quiet down. \
Have a fine weekend, but enjoy Friday first!!
Love ya,
