Title: Offense! Offfense!
"How'd you do it? How'd you take the knife without me seein' it? You CAN'T be
THAT fast," Bud says as he sits at the bar between Sis and Azi.
"You're slow, that's the problem, Bud. Where did you learn the fake thrust? It
didn't work, too slow, too defensive." Her tone of voice is almost chiding,
but with a hint of sarcasm.
He looks at her with furrowed brow trying to decide whether his pride is worth
hurting a woman or not. He opens his mouth to respond but Sis pushes on,
"Pollyana MIGHT have seen your fighting skills to be mediocre, if that. If I
were you I'd stop being so agressive. You're gonna get your ass kicked REAL
bad one of these days, Bud."
Bud mutters, aside to Azi, "Not by some WOman, that's for sure. Ain't that
Right old-timer?"
Azi responds with a woeful shake of his head as he peers deep into his ice
water and lime drink.
