Title: Family matters

"Our marriage was a sort of morganatic affair. I was with the tribe and Azi
for only 5 years. It wasn't until we were graced with our first child that I
was allowed to participate in some of the more - interesting and enlightening
ceremonies."

"What happened between you? Why didn't you two stick together?" Sis asks.

"It was my fault, really. I wanted to move on, learn more of the mystic,
occult life outside the tribe. Azi kept telling me I would satisfy my quest
anywhere I went, but I felt something pulling me away. Maybe it was my dharma
pushing me toward the far east. I don't know - now."

"It would have been interesting to have spent our childhood here, on the desert
with Azi's direct influence, and his people..."

"YOUR people. You should know you have never been 'away' from his influence.
Since I'm not blood-related I am an affine member, and can't participate in
many of the ceremonies. The two of you, being Azi's progeny, are linked, one of
the people. You are free to return, and if you desire, to remain with them."
