Ray at the Owl.  He says as I read, "I'll close this place down and follow
you.  Sounds like you'll need the help."

Nice of Ray to intromit the code:  'get here the short way.'  It probably
means he thinks it would be safer for me to take the side road and come in
through the east side door rather than the front.  We always joke about
having to drive nearly a block further just to use the driveway and enter
through the front door of the Owl.
