Title: Passing the pipe

We have been with Azi for 48 hours, talking about his past and future, and
ours. His pipe has touched us, several times, the three (or maybe four) of
us. Our questions and answers are short innane lifeless drab silly.  When
he speaks his words and thoughts take on extraordinary depth, import, and
length.  His visage changes with each new or used thought and his voice
blends with the smoke curling from the bowl of his ornate ironwood pipe.

Sis asks, "Were there any problems with the authorities when you treated
and cured with the psychoactive sub-trances?  err.. psychoactive SUBstances?"
Sis is able to repress psychotic glee as she is caught up in his answer.

Azi explains, his face changing to a wise old indian medicine man's face,
