As she rolled and writhed on the pavement in front of Bikers,
Claire's atavistic grunts and guttural noises reminded me of
a bad day for the apes at the zoo.

Except for Sis, we all rushed to help Claire extinguish the
small smoking spots on her clothing.  I called over my shoulder
to Sis to call the ambulance and she quickly ran into Bikers
to make the call.

"No, don't call the ambulance or doctors, goddamnit, I'm
ok, I'm OK!  Don't call ANYone..."


Monday is another day, right?
