if ya wanna.  I've cleaned out the side car and ya can
leave Harley here.  Who knows, we might win the whole
shee-bang together, ya know?"

con.nip.tion \k*-'nip-sh*n\ n : a fit of rage, hysteria,
or alarm.

The Hawiian music was loud, the grass skirted
strippers were gyrating, the crowd was growing
in population while Joey and Vern were shouting above
the hue and cry of La Punta.  Suddenly, just as Joey
cowered, just as Vern looked to see what was disturbing
Joey, the music stopped and everyone looked to see
who rated the Grand Entrance.  It was, of course,
Claire and Jake.  Cheering and applause, ovation,
marked their arrival.  "Claire, Claire, Claire," was
chanted by the band and many of the regulars.

Truly a Grand Entrance.  As Claire surveyed the room,
she gave a wave, sometimes a smile, to familiar faces
and friends -- then she saw Joey.
