                 Above,
              Jake pulls
       the scaldinghot baskets
   of metal trays and stainless steel
spoons and forks out of the steamy dishwasher/disposal
onto the metal counter.  He checks several nooks and tines of various
flatware to be sure the internal menstruum of the dishwasher has scoured clean
  all artifacts, quickly spurning only one small grubby flyblown fork.
    He duteously lowers the heavy disposal/dishwasher door closed,
         screws the hot water gate valve tightly shut.
              He thinks he hears (or feels) a low
                   thunderous rumble from
                        BIKERS' cloaca,
                              Below.
