Title: Relationships and Mamas
The other day, at Bikers, Vern and I were discussing past and
present 'girl friends' (or as the Bikers' argot goes, "Mamas").
ar.got \'a_:r-g*t, -.go_-\ n : the language of a particular group or
class esp. of the underworld.
At one point I mentioned that Sis and I have a consanguineous
bond which neither of us would ever forget or neglect. In less
than a second I found myself flat on the stainless steel floor
with Vern standing over me!
"You and Sis!? You're RELATED, you're brother and sister,
dammmmit! You shouldn't have ANY kind of ... ya know,
nuthin' physical!"
con.san.guin.i.ty \.ka_:n-.san-'gwin-*t-e_-, -.san_e-\ n : blood
relationship
-- con.san.guin.e.ous \-'gwin-e_--*s\ adj
Luckily Sis was there and gently convinced Vern that we weren't
involved in anything...'physical'.
Happy Thursday to ya.
