Title: as goes the light so goes it
"Go Chargers!!" echoed through the empty rooms in the large house. Each
time the breeze gained enough momentum to whisk through the back door,
through the living room, then down the hall, past the large drain grating
in the floor of the sewing room and finally into the furthest back bedroom
where it was pitch black dark the cry was heard again, "Go Chargers!!!"
Still his hand was invisible even though he held it where he thought was
directly in front of his face. Strange, he thought, how dark it was
when his eyes were open and yet when he closed his eyes he 'saw' reminants
of light-streaks.His feet pained him and still, he cursed the darkness.
"Damn the candles," he muttered. He heard no echo concerning candles or
darkness. Again the breezes blew up the refrain, "Go Chargers!!"
Seau, Humphreys, Means, all the Chargers in his mind (and his mother's)
were heroes and friends. They represented his light.
My Chargers are great
they are running on fate
as walking is true
goes the gold and blue!
His eyes filled with tears as he chanted the verse in a whisper.

A breeze, a thought, and nothing more. His world was finite and his
darkness ceased only when his eyes were closed. So goes it.
Have a great FRIDAY -- and a wondrous weekend. Go Chargers.
Go Agassi.
