Tall, skinny, stringy-dirty long blonde hair,  greasy
levi jacketed, jeans and heavy leather boots, sitting
at the bar at Bikers, away from anyone else, sharpening
what appears to be a large long bowie knife.

Tod.  Originally from Brawley and before that Eureka.
One of those so-called native Californians.  He and his Harley are
about the same age - over 40.  Tod was once a Navy Seal but
after the training was completed (the hardest part) he went AWOL
forever,  abandoned ship, deserted and disappeared.  Suddenly
here he is, sitting at Bikers waiting for ... something to happen.

"Whatcha got there, dude?  Where'd ya get the knife?  Is
that some sort of swag ya pulled up somewhere?"  Claire says
as she moves toward Tod who doesn't seem to hear.
Claire is wearing a tank top, very low cut, with a necklace consisting
of a skull, lightening bolts and a cross in the form of a dagger,
hanging low and loose, between her breasts.
