Title: Flippin' Chicken
Oscar is a real pip of a pianist! I've seen him eat watermelon,
play Boogie, and never miss the bowl when he spat out
the seeds, all in rhythm! His left and right hands were ablaze.
pip n [short for pippin] (1797) 1: a small fruit seed; esp: one
of a several-seeded fleshy fruit 2: one extraordinary of its kind
One night Oscar was playing with such brio that the
late night Bikers crowd wouldn't let him take a break
for dinner.
brio n [It] (1734): enthusiastic vigor: vivacity, verve/
Oscar ordered the special, a 40-garlic-clove-chicken
stuffed with giblets and wild rice. The air was thick
with eye-watering garlic gasses. He managed to play one
of his original Boogie pieces, "Flippin' Chicken," eat the
whole dinner, drink the special drink Jake prepared,
and spar with one of the more exhuberant bikers.
spar n (1814) 1: a movement of offense or defense in
boxing 2: a sparring match or session .
Have a great week! Ah, the 4th cometh. Let us pop
with joy.
luv ya,
d.
