What a year 2008 turned out to be.

I would like to again congratulate Worshipful Dave O’Dell on a wonderful Masonic year and all that he and his officers did for the lodge.

The 2009 Masonic year is well underway and it also looks like it is going to be full of activities and events from both the Grand Lodge as well as many of our local lodges here in Districts 35 A & B.

I will be sure to pass all information on as I receive it so that the members of Norfolk Lodge #1 can participate and remain active.

I am very excited and ready to begin the 2009 Masonic year.

I urge every member of Norfolk Lodge No. 1 to be as active as you can and contribute to the lodge as much as you possible can.

Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly:
The JANUARY STATED COMMUNICATION for Norfolk Lodge No.1 is scheduled for the SECOND Thursday in January.
The date is 08 January 2009 at 7:30 PM. 

I know that Owens Lodge will be having their Stated Communication as well that evening but the decision to move our Communication has been made based on the first Thursday falling on the New Years holiday and avoiding scheduling problems.

Please plan accordingly and make every attempt to attend. 

There is going to be a wonderful meal, as well as a few potential candidates there that are wanting to learn more about Masonry and meet the members of Norfolk Lodge No.1. 

I need for everyone who can attend to please attend the meal and meeting. This is the first step to bringing in new members.  Let’s make them feel welcome.
