Full splinter 4 Yes-no-maybe.  Full splinters are 3 NT (heart shortage), 4 , and 4 .

Opening Bid Is 1

Rules are essentially the same.  Be aware that opener may be 4=4=1=4.  He warns of this over 1NT with a 2 rebid.  Over a 2/1 response he bids naturally.  He can splinter in support of a club suit, just raise clubs, or bid 2NT over 2 .
