Pre-clean up Pictures

Here are some pictures of my Belvy before the clean up process began.  I did get the car through eBay so I included 2 photos from the auction and 2 others from when it was loaded up for transport.  The rest of the pictures are of once it had arrived home.

Picture from the eBay listing.

Driver's side shot of her in Colorado.

Passenger side shot of her in Colorado.

Picture of her getting ready to go onto the trailer.

The transport company didn't arrive it almost night time for the pick up.

Another shot of the Belvy almost on the trailer.

After all of the transporting nightmares...I thought it was only fitting that it was raining for the pick up.

First day at her new home.

Passenger shot from inside my ManCave(garage).

The Belvy next to the Camaro.

I did had to separate the two, especially since I'm selling one to keep the other. And we all know what a 58 Plymouth can do to a Camaro! LOL.

The sport tone damage.

My third biggest let down was the damage to the "hockey stick" insert. I have the passenger side complete. This side however will need a few peices.

Front damage shot.

Not quite sure what she bumped but the only thing that looks expensive to fix is the bumper wing (it's split).

The original 318 engine, this is a big plus to me.

The engine is covered in old oil/grease/grim and animal droppings. I think I'm even gonna keep it as a 2 barrel since it's original. I have a soft spot for nostalgia.

Pre-clean up shot shows the mess on the floorpans.

The dirt and cracked floor coating caused major issues with the floor boards. I will need to patch a few spots and seal it all up again. My second biggest problem with the car.

Picture shows the padded dash and gauges.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the dash pad but the rest looks pretty good for sitting 30 years.

Better shot of the driver's side of the dash.

My baby's got junk in her trunk!

I thought is neat that the only beer can we found in the trunk was a Schlitz...this car is from Colorado...where's the Coors?

Shot of the underneth.

The tank has a few dents, but the frame is in good condition and looks like it has never needed any repairs or been cut on.

My Man-cave.

Self explanitory. This was the first time I have had a car in the garage since we've owned the house. Wife never thought we would get a car in there with all the junk we had stored. Amazing what a dream car can help you accomplish!

"What you lookin' at?"-always think that when I see this picture.

This is a better shot of the damage from whatever she bumped way back when. I'm a little concerned over the bumper wing steel split and the bit of metal streching over the bumper mount.
