INTRODUCTION: SHEMOLOGY The word shem is the Hebrew word for -- Name. Therefore, shemology is the in-depth study of biblical proper names based upon and incorporating their root meanings. Another aspect to shemology is taking the meanings of the names in a genealogy and using them to form a sentence or paragraph that reveals the nature and character of the genealogy. At the end of the Cush genealogy you'll find a shemology statement done by a partner in Christ that reveals the nature and character of this particular genealogy. In examining the long lists of genealogies in the Bible, it has been discovered that these long lists are not there just to make us bored, but rather, God himself has authored the placement of these names in scripture to offer us a wealth of deeper understanding concerning certain topics dealing with both the carnal and the spiritual mind. In our study on the Land of Canaan, it is revealed that the Canaanite tribes that inhabited the land of Israel prior to the possession of the Jews (and after, in some cases) are, in fact, different aspects of our own carnal mind that exists in all of us, even today! In like manner, all biblical genealogies are: aspects of a certain focus either spiritual or carnal God himself has given us a list of details on how it works. There is absolutely nothing about the human or spiritual condition that is a surprise to God! In the mechanics of shemology, generally speaking, the meaning of the name of the father of a certain place, person, or genealogy is the topic, and the names of the offspring describe the different aspects of that topic in detail. For those of us who just love lists, this is the type of study that speaks directly to the heart! In many cases, the order of the list starts out with the initial topic then builds one upon the other like a crescendo to a final conclusion. Therefore, the order in which the names are placed is very important. NOW WE CAN MOVE ON TO CUSH........

Who is Cush? Cush was a son of Ham, and Ham was the son of Noah who saw his father's nakedness (Genesis 9:22).
As you can see in verse 6, Ham had 4 sons, however, for this study, we are only going to look at the genealogy of Cush. Each of the other sons are all studies of their own! And who or what is the genealogy of Cush?
Genesis 10:7-8, names the 6 sons of Cush. Also included in this list are 2 of his grandchildren, for a total of 8 offspring mentioned. To discover the TOPIC of this particular list, we begin by looking at the Hebrew meaning of the name, Cush........ Note: all meanings of names are referenced
from the following sources: CUSH: meaning ~ black terror; full of darkness; Ethiopia As we shall see in the following, CUSH, in fact, is referring to the spirit of the: perverted gospel of Jesus Christ that
is active And what is so amazing is that the names of his offspring
describe IN DETAIL just exactly how this perversion manifests itself. We know because of the biblical numbers used! Numbers? For many Christians numbers in scripture do not mean very much. However, for many other Christians, numbers are a clarifyer and/or a compliment since they are so consistent throughout scripture. Seeing the glory of the LORD in their consistency is utterly fantastic! The word CUSH in Hebrew is Kuwsh. In scripture, the English word, Cush, is used 8 times in 8 verses (the number of Jesus Christ, the Word). The Hebrew word Kuwsh is used 27 times in 27 verses. The number 27, in scripture, is the number for: preaching of the gospel -- the Word Cush had 6 actual sons that are named,
plus 2 of his grandchildren, who are also named, for a total of 8 in this genealogy! Before we go any further, I want to express that many are going to be upset by what they will read, because it will hit at the very heart of many belief systems in operation today. However, you need to read on unto the end, because, believe it or not: IT DOES HAVE A HAPPY ENDING!!! CUSH, the topic, refers to something that is a black
terror, and full of darkness.
Light, in scripture, symbolically speaks of the light of Truth, knowledge, glory, FORGIVENESS. Darkness, in scripture, symbolically speaks of that Truth being either shadowed, darkened, or blackened by the perversion of truth through the IGNORANCE OF ERROR! Cush is black, either devoid of, or lacking this light. Terror! We've been hearing alot about the word, terror, lately. The synonyms for terror, are:

Does any of this sound familiar? It sounds to me like many well-meaning Christian ministries, denominations, and non-denominations today who spend a great deal of time, effort, and money trying to intimidate the rest of the world into believing the negative gospel of Jesus Christ through their use of fear, shouting, dread, anxiety, and worry. They are characterized by their intolerance, anger, hostility, and condemnation of others. They are those who absolutely believe themselves to be RIGHT!
This topic is very reminiscent of the scripture found in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4...
Many assume that the great apostasy or falling away of God's assembly as spoken of by the Apostle Paul refers to people who were once Christians leaving Christianity for other strange doctrines, or even diversity. That is true in one sense; however, what is happening is that the great apostasy happens within the church by way of a falling away from the truth through the perversion of the Word! Most will not know it is happening! The darkness of error creeps into the light little by little. Here a little, there a little, and before you know it a little leaven has leavened the whole lump! Let's now look at the different aspects of this perversion of the Word of God by God's assembly -- the great apostasy -- the falling away!...
1. SEBA A. Refers to excess & addiction that has crept into the church........ Drinking is a spiritual symbol for the manner in which one ingests milk, water, wine, or any spiritual beverage. That spiritual beverage is Truth. Therefore, drinking is a symbol for the manner in which we ingest Truth. How does one ingest Truth? We ingest it through our UNDERSTANDING! Drinking refers to the understanding. Drinking captivity is a picture of our understanding being held captive, or imprisoned. How is it possible our understanding could be held captive or imprisoned? Very simple ~ THROUGH EXCESS (drunkeness), and ADDICTION (captivity) from an outside source! We know it's from an outside source because of the word SURROUNDS (drunkard that surrounds), which refers to one's surroundings, environment, or atmosphere that surrounds us. Drunkenness is a symbol of excess, which causes a mind-altering "high." A drunkard is one whose understanding has been altered and dimmed (darkened) through the excesses and mind-altering highs spurred on by group frenzy......get one person going, then pretty soon, they're all going. In recent years we see it all the time where environments are being manipulated and created in order to cause "group frenzy." Nowadays they call this manipulation the moving of the Holy Spirit, spirit-filled, or being drunk in the Spirit, that causes this spiritual HIGH. Most in this environment today are very proud of their drunkeness. They like it! It feels good! They think it's great! And, if one attends these meetings or environments often enough, this so-called spiritual HIGH becomes an ADDICTION. Anyone who has ever been addicted to something knows that their mind, will, and emotions have been taken captive and imprisoned by that something. As it pertains to this text, it is the understanding of the believer that has been taken captive through excess. This captivity of the understanding through excess reminds me of the scourge of drugs upon the world today. Excess and addiction are powers -- they are drugs! Once the understanding has been taken captive by the powers of excess and addiction (spiritual drugs), it totally engulfs or surrounds the understanding with its veil of darkness and people are caught in a trap, unawares. The reason why they are unaware is because the understanding has already been darkened through repeated use. This excess has happened many times in the church throughout history. It's what happens when it gets too big and/or too powerful. What started out to be a very good idea in the beginning ended up totally corrupt because of excess. The sad part about it is that the people within it usually do not have a clue that their understanding has been darkened. They think it's great because it feels great. Children of God -- be very, very leery of the spiritual high as practiced by many in the church today! As you, no doubt, have just gasped in horror at that analogy, please note that: This is no game. It is that deadly serious! Then, once the understanding has been taken captive and darkened by excess and addiction, then comes....
A. Refers to the manner in which the church seeks and teaches........ Is also a root word in the sacred name Jehovah (YHVH). Originally, HAVILAH was the "land in which there was gold, bdellium and onyx stone" in the Garden of God. The river Pison is one of the 4 rivers that went out from Eden to water the Garden and compassed Havilah (Genesis 2:11). The purpose of the rivers were to water the garden and the source of these 4 rivers came from 1 single river that issued out of Eden, probably from the middle of Eden wherein was the tree of life (Genesis 2:10). Let's look at what it says...
The rivers represent the Spirit of God as the living waters of life, and the lands they compassed represent the WORD OF GOD -- the solid foundation upon which all things in the Garden were to be built and from which all things in the Garden grew that were good for food. Therefore, HAVILAH is a very important land within the Garden of Eden. It speaks of a land filled with the treasures of God -- gold, bdellium, and onyx stone (these are a tri-unity). These treasures were good treasures and speak of the hidden mysteries of God within the Word of God. Yes, there were mysteries to be discovered even then! There exists today the seekers of God who spend a lifetime in the LORD treasure hunting! I am one of those people. And, what do we seek? We seek the hidden treasures in the land of God -- the gold, bdellium, and onyx stone!
The Kingdom does have hidden treasures to be discovered, it always did, and always will, even in the age to come, and even after the more perfect face to face relationship has come! I do not believe the face to face relationship with Jesus Christ will be at the expense of the whole! It kind of excites me to know that even then there will be things to dig for and discover. In the age to come it may not be the same kind of treasure we have now, but treasure none the less! As we can see, there was 1 single river that came out of Eden then parted into 4 heads in order to water the lands of the Garden (v. 10). This parting is a symbol of rightly dividing the Word of Truth. We also see that the man Adam was put into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it (v. 15). He was given a responsibility as a workman in the Garden. Let's see what it says in 2 Timothy 2:15...
What is happening here is that we, as the first Adam, have been put into the Garden of God, in Christ, the last Adam (we are the female part of Adam -- the bride, the number 2, who will be taken out of the last Adam), and have been given the charge as helpmate to the workman to dress it and to keep it or rightly divide the word of truth of which HAVILAH is one of the aspects of the Word of Truth, and the 4 rivers are the spiritual methods by which it is rightly divided (which is itself another study). HAVILAH, since it is listed as an aspect of the perversion of truth, is referring to wrongly dividing the word of truth through the manner in which we seek and teach!
As a result of obtaining the hidden treasures of God's Word with a darkened understanding, the teaching of the scriptures also becomes perverted! It becomes something other than what it was intended to be! This indeed has already happened in Christianity today as it happened in Judaism at the time of Jesus. We see it everywhere in every denomination and non-denomination thereby making it very difficult for the understanding to experience the true joy of His Truth! This was the problem Jesus was addressing
when he spoke to the scribes and Pharisees referring to their laws and their scriptures and how
they were preventing people who were truly seeking the Kingdom of God from entering
in. The only people Jesus Christ ever showed a lack of tolerance for were the scribes, Pharisees, and the money changers in the temple. These are those who had polluted and perverted the Word of Truth and the Temple! Likewise in today's temple, the church! We see exactly the same thing happening today on television.
Christianity has become a show which ministers to the human desire for entertainment. And, sitting
in the gates are all the money changers selling their goods, and wares, and books, and tapes, and music, etc. They
use the term love offering or donation
to pay for these goods and wares, but what
that truly is, is just a way to avoid having to pay taxes and to keep their tax exempt status, thereby heaping
unto themselves BILLIONS of dollars in the form of love offerings and donations. At the same time, these are those who are teaching others erroneous doctrines of men, and cunningly devised fables! These shepherds are the ones that will stand before God and say, "LORD, LORD, I did this in your name and that in your name!" And God will say -- I NEVER KNEW YOU! These shepherds are actually going to be surprised that God is unhappy with them. This statement also reveals that these shepherds do not know that what they are doing is perversion. They think it's okay and in the will of God just as the Pharisees and scribes at the time of Jesus thought they were okay and in the will of God! One thing is for certain -- I personally do not want to be standing anywhere near these shepherds at the Judgment! I do not want my name identified with anything that has to do with them, or their ministries. When Jesus left Jerusalem in Matthew 23:37-38, he said...
It is my understanding that the reason why Jesus said the word "Jerusalem" twice was that he was referring to two apostate Jerusalems, both Judaism and Christianity! As the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, so too will apostate Christianity be destroyed by the appearing of Christ in the midst of his saints! This now moves us to the next name on the list........ What kind of Gospel is being preached
in apostate Christianity...
3. SABTAH: A. Refers to the preaching of the negative gospel........ SABTAH is the negative Gospel! The Gospel that strikes fear and terror into the hearts of the people. As the law is the strength of sin (I Corinthians 15:56) by revealing its sinfulness, Grace is the power, strength, and foundation
of the New Testament.
There are many in the church today who will justify the preaching and the living of the negative Gospel as being the way to heaven. However, this message is not the true Gospel of Jesus Christ -- it is SABTAH -- the perverted Gospel of Jesus Christ!
4. RAAMAH: A. Refers to the "method or manner" of preaching........ Raamah is referring to a method of preaching the Gospel that is used time and again in order to move or stir up the emotions of the hearers! We know this is referring to the emotions being moved, because the word Raamah is feminine, and the emotions are the feminine aspect of the human psyche! The intellect of the human psyche is male. It is the loud voice that is intended
to move the hearers emotionally either to anger about a certain issue on the speaker's agenda, or to trouble
them about a certain issue on the speaker's agenda. This movement of the emotions is the quivering mane on the horse mentioned in the name Raamah. It's the power that will move the emotions from one place to another.
Unfortunately, we are told this horse is the moving
of the Holy Spirit (and we believe them)
but it is not, it is RAAMAH! Children of God -- this method of preaching is not inspired by the Holy Spirit! It is not the Holy Spirit moving in a service. This method of preaching is used in order to capture the understanding of the people through addiction. To addict them to the spiritual high so that the "still small voice" can no longer be heard, as described in I Kings 19:11-12...
We are all guilty of being moved by the great, strong wind that rents mountains and brakes in pieces the rocks, and earthquakes, and fire. This moving is generally the result of being moved in the emotions by a preacher using the Raamah method of preaching! We shout hallelujah, and jump for joy, and sing, and cry, and dance, and fall down on the floor claiming it's being "slain in the spirit," and run around, and laugh hysterically, and bark, and shake (sometimes for weeks), and finally, to all of this, we say, Amen!..... But, children of God -- THE LORD IS NOT THERE! You will not find him in any of those things -- you will find him in the "still small voice" within your own spirit, within your own prayer closet, or within the touching of the Word. You will also find it in the love you share with your family and the world around you. What is the true manifestation of the Holy Spirit? Jesus said you will know them by their fruit (Matthew 7:16). The fruit is the evidence. What is the fruit? What is the evidence?
The fruit of the Spirit is an inward manifestation of peace that is very still and quiet. The lusts and affections of the flesh are noisy and outward. What is being experienced as the spiritual high is not the manifestation of the Spirit -- it is utterly, 100%, the genealogy of Cush! What's stirring it all up is Raamah, among all the others. Do not allow this method of preaching to move you. Recognize it for what it is -- it is RAAMAH! When a preacher is using this method of preaching do not say, "Amen" when he/she tells you to "say amen" or when he/she uses the euphemism "HELLO--." Have you ever heard a preacher use that term, "HELLO--" when he/she is preaching? As though you are not paying attention to what he/she is saying? Of course, you have. What that is, is a manipulation of the emotions to get you to agree; thereby confirming what he/she has just said is true! Do not be moved by these people. That is what I will say, "Amen" to. And -- if we think this is not a real and genuine problem in Christianity today... Recently, I saw on television a report about a certain church that has thousands of Christians (our very own brothers and sisters in Christ) waiting outside to get in. Inside, every method mentioned above is used. When a Pastor of this church was interviewed, he said that if all this is so bad, why was it that this one is being delivered from drugs, and that one is being healed?... Brothers and sisters in Christ -- it is my own understanding that those delivered from drugs who have unknowingly attached themselves to an apostate church have simply replaced their physical drugs for another drug even more dangerous. Physical drugs will destroy the physical mind and body, but spiritual drugs will injure the soul, because they darken the understanding! As with physical drugs, spiritual drugs are the same. Over time, one needs more and more in order to satisfy the addiction. In the report on the church referred to above, the reason stated as to why so many people were coming there was because they had become bored with their hum-drum, dead churches. In fact what is happening is that these people who are already addicted, want MORE! They are no longer satisfied with the current dose! This is the warning that Jesus Christ gave when he spoke about those who try to move you...
Do not say "Amen" to their sermons; for to do so is to agree with the perversion, thereby connecting yourself and your understanding to the perversion.
They truly believe that what they have is of God -- it is not, it is SEBA, HAVILAH, SABTAH, and RAAMAH, the offspring of Cush! That is the tree and that is the fruit!
4a. SHEBA: A. What a Raamah ministry seeks to accomplish ~ the tithe........ Since the name Sheba is an offspring of Raamah, it speaks of what a Raamah ministry seeks to accomplish either openly or behind doors. It seeks to cause its people to make a commitment (oath of a man) to the church, the ministry, the message, or the person giving the message -- hence the number seven (complete, perfection). The Hebrew word shaba (Strong's #7650) is an offspring of Sheba and means "to seven oneself -- sware with an oath." This lifetime commitment a Raamah ministry depends upon is the commitment of tithing. It is the making of a financial commitment by their people in order to keep the ministry going. In turn, it is the ministry's commitment to the people to keep them "fed." In fact, it is buying and selling -- merchandising! They tell us the tithe is the proof of our commitment. Generally speaking, it's been my experience that only those who are the tithers are the ones that have leadership positions, or are considered leaders in a Raamah ministry. In these particular ministries tithing is a central focus. After all, it's what keeps the ministries going for their Bible colleges, their theme parks, their hotels, their Pastors rich with fancy homes, and fancy cars, and airplanes, and land deals, among many, many other things... This too they have convinced us is okay. They've convinced us, through the idea of commitment, that we must support them; for they tell us it is their right in the LORD. They are indeed set for life! Brothers and sisters in Christ -- any minister that is better off than most of his congregation is not of God! Pure and simple. People do not realize the seriousness of what Raamah ministries have been doing regarding the money we give them. The whole prosperity message that came out of the recent so-called revival is a lie straight from hell because it darkened the understanding to begin focusing on the things of this world (conversation of the world) instead of the invisible things of spirit (conversation of heaven). The prosperity that is spoken of in scripture is not a physical prosperity, it is a spiritual prosperity! That may be a bummer to some, because all of us would love nothing better than to be in a better position financially, but it is the truth! Our thoughts are not to focus on our physical wants and needs. Jesus said...
And again, the Apostle Paul says...
The word conversation refers to our
thoughts, our focus. I was assigned by Raamah to visit those asking for aid in order to determine whether or not they were "worthy" of aid. I've seen it all, and heard it all behind the scenes. Being in a leadership position gives one a front row seat that very few in a Raamah congregation are able to see. Non-tithers were generally not given leadership positions because they were not considered committed or trust worthy. They had NOT TAKEN THE OATH, to the church in the form of the tithe. They had not SEVENED ONESELF, to the ministry. I've even known those who have disagreed with tithing to actually be run out of the church as trouble makers. I'm personally of the understanding that God has blessed certain ones who are able to give financial aid and support to a ministry as it has pleased God. Others have other gifts for other offices. If a ministry is God breathed, God will provide the finances for it without the tithe! If the money is not there, then the ministry needs to reevaluate its goals! No Pastor or officer of the church should live better than most of their congregation. If he does, he then becomes unreachable, and outside of the will of God, because our God is, after all, a FAMILY God!
What the above is saying is that with the Priesthood of God (which we are in Christ), since we are the children of Abraham by faith, we were in the seed in the loins of Abraham by faith, and as such, Abraham ALREADY PAID TITHES FOR US ! unto Melchisedec. He did it for us, ALREADY. We are not obligated to tithe. It is not necessary for us to pay tithes to anyone! However, I am sure there are many Raamah ministries that would strongly disagree with that understanding. This does not mean we do not give. Some of us give our TIME, some our TEACHING, some our TALENTS, some our LOVE. Some of us even give our money, but only as we are able, if we are able, and NEVER if it takes from the mouths of our family or our needs. It's God who gives the increase! ~ He does not need our tithes if we are in His Will !
~ he who is coming, old age, seven ~ Uh, oh....you know where I'm going now, don't you? Hang on, take a deep breath, you'll make it through.... A. refers to the second coming, pre-trib rapture doctrine, and end times doctrine Here goes..... He who is coming is the second coming, pre-trib rapture doctrine, old age is the end times doctrine, and the number 7 relates to completion or the fulness of time. Resurfacing out of the so-called revival in the 1830's was the pre-tribulation escape message. Since that time, the pre-trib escape message and the end times message have been building like a crescendo into what we see and hear today -- an erroneous doctrine that has infiltrated the church of Jesus Christ because of our darkened understanding and based upon our own lusts to "make it be true." These messages, as they are preached today, have caused a preoccupation with what is physical (conversation/focus on the world).
It is certain that others, since the time of Christ, have come up with the idea of a pre-trib escape. As it says in Ecclesiastes 1:9 -- "...there is no new thing under the sun." This also applies to ERROR! The resurfacing of this erroneous message by Margaret McDonald (scribe who dug it up) and J.N. Darby (Pharisee who processed it) in the 1830's RAAMAH revival were the springboards that launched this error worldwide into what it has become today. J.N. Darby was indeed the one who successfully managed to make this error doctrine in many Christian denominations and non-denominations today. These erroneous doctrines not only causes one to focus on what is physical as opposed to what is spiritual, but adds yet another erroneous attitude of mind -- escape as opposed to overcoming! People all over the world are interpreting the book of Revelation from a "physical" perspective instead of from a "spiritual" perspective. As a result, we focus on physical world events and look for a coming physical Antichrist (666 -- which is probably not the correct number at all -- it is probably the number "616") to rise up from among some physical nation. We speak of 7 physical years of tribulation (70th week of Daniel) that will usher in the physical Second Coming of Jesus Christ to set up his physical 1,000 year reign on the physical earth. We also look to physical Israel for the building of the third physical temple in which a physical man will sit and show himself that he is God. 3 1/2 physical years into this physical 7 years tribulation, the man of sin will be revealed for what he is and this physical man will then reek havoc on the physical earth to which Jesus Christ will physically come again, with his previously physically escaped church, to set up his physical kingdom. Many in Christianity, as it is preached today by most Raamah ministries, believe we will escape these physical tribulations as opposed to OVERCOMING THEM ! In fact, most people in Raamah ministries do not realize that the belief in a a pre-trib rapture is actually the minority belief. Most denominations in Christianity today understand the symbolic nature of the scriptures in question. What started out to be an erroneous prophecy by Margaret McDonald, ended up to be erroneous church doctrine, which is the perfect example of the Cush Genealogy in action! The doctrine has even divided itself further into pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib, and pre-wrath, and has become a central theme and focal point in Christianity today. Judging from all the book sales of all the so-called end times prophets, we just love this topic. In fact, this too is an addiction! However, while we are looking to physical Jerusalem for the building of the third physical temple, we have not been watching our own spiritual back door! We have forgotten that we, the church, are the spiritual temple of God!

And, again...
The church of Jesus Christ is the spiritual temple of God. When it speaks of the temple, it speaks of the body, and there is only one body -- the body of Christ! When the scripture in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 speaks of that man of sin, the son of perdition sitting in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God, it is speaking of the man of sin, the son of perdition sitting in the apostate, physical CHURCH, not a physical temple in physical Jerusalem! Its the second "Jerusalem" in the "O, Jerusalem, Jerusalem........" From what we have seen thus far in the genealogy of Cush, the enemy is ALREADY HERE! There are those who say this could not happen to the church, however, this is what scripture says...
The "mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north" is Zaphon or Zion, God's congregation, his assembly, his people, his temple -- the CHURCH! Our conversation is in heaven not in the world in the physical things. Whatever part of the spiritual church/temple that fell away from the heavenly conversation thereby becoming a physical conversation (as it happened to Lucifer, above) is the place where that man of sin, the son of perdition now sits -- in the physical church we see in the world today, of which the genealogy of Cush is all about! This apostate, physical church is the false image of the true, spiritual church. While the apostate physical church watches for physical manifestations in the world, that man of sin, the son of perdition has crept in through our own back door! Brothers and sisters in Christ -- he is here already and is being revealed right now, at this very moment! As it says in I Thessalonians 4:2," the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night." The night refers to a time of spiritual darkness while most are spiritually asleep. That day will come as a complete surprise. Why? Because it will happen in a manner we are not expecting! And what are we expecting? We ARE expecting either pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib or pre-wrath escape of the church and a physical temple to be built in physical Jerusalem! Could there possibly be something else we have not expected? Yes, I think there is... It's called the appearing of our LORD Jesus Christ in his saints, the manifestation of the sons of God! We have been taught in this erroneous doctrine that the launching of the physical 7 year tribulation will begin with an agreement between physical Israel and physical Antichrist. Children of God, the agreement has already happened! It is the "AMEN" the apostate physical church has given to all the error as revealed in the genealogy of Cush! Again.....
As you can see in the above scripture, it is from the heavenly conversation (spiritual perspective) that we are to look for the Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ. It does not say we are to look for him in the worldly conversation (physical perspective) as most do today! Until the manifestation of the sons of God, the spirit of Antichrist will continue to manifest itself over and over again in the physical; for the physical is where the spirit of Antichrist was driven in the fall and requires a "physical body as opposed to a spiritual body" in which to manifest itself. This is why the Antichrist spirit directs the focus to what is physical as opposed to what is spiritual! And now comes the next offspring (fruit) of Raamah...
A. Raamah ministry nurturing, self-contained, self-motivating...... DEDAN is also an offspring of Raamah. What this is speaking of is that many in Raamah ministries are forever sucklings not yet weaned from the breast. Many of the followers of these ministries are making low progress, spiritually, because they are still babes, forever living off the messages, books, tapes of the Pastors, leaders, or tele-evangelists! Never coming to a place in the LORD where they are able to stand on their own two feet, spiritually. They are needy, because their spirit has not matured. Because of the neediness, the Raamah churches or ministries have provided for their people many, many social groups to encourage friendships and bonding. They tell us we need to get involved. And they have provided all the involvement one could possibly think of. No one would ever have to leave because of need. It becomes utterly self-contained and self-motivating. What is happening here is that the ministry or church is becoming an institution, a self-contained tower with boundaries and borders designed to enclose and protect from outside influences! They are places of protection. A place to keep us fed, cozy, comfy, and happy. These are TOWERS, or places of co-dependency! They need us to keep them going, we need them to keep us going. They support us, we support them. I recently read a very good article that stated something like........ co-dependency is actually COUNTERFEIT GRACE! Wow! I never looked at it that way before! Raamah churches or ministries do not encourage free thinkers! The very moment someone disagrees with them or attempts to teach something a little different, the free thinker is either humiliated, struck down, or told to move on. The reason for this is that free thinkers are a threat to the stability of the tower because they are not a co-dependent ! Let's move on to the next offspring. This next one is not an offspring of Raamah. It's back to the next direct descendent of Cush........
A. Speaks of the desire for political power...... The apostate church is one of power! It has a great deal of power in the world today. It seeks the "best seat" in the house! -- and that best seat is the seat of power. That is the SEAT he compassed! It wants to control the world and all the people in it, because it thinks it is RIGHT! There are some ministries that seek the highest power seat on this earth -- and continually compasses it about. That seat is the Presidency of the United States, and they spend a great deal of time, and other people's money doing so -- because it thinks it is RIGHT! We all should have learned our lesson from history when the Roman Catholic Church became a power, because it thought it was RIGHT! When the Roman Catholic Church became a political power as well as a spiritual power -- absolute power corrupts absolutely! It terrorized the entire planet for hundreds and hundreds of years! Absolute power breeds abuse of power which is the smiting about striking terror. In the Catholic Church, because of the corruption and abuse of its power, the Grace of God scattered the power of the holy people by way of one man called Martin Luther, as a free-thinker, proved he was not a co-dependent of the religious system. The Roman Catholic Church still remains a power today, but not a political power other than their influence on the mindset of their people. The same is true of many other Christian denominations and non-denominations. It is not limited to just the Catholic Church. I personally agree with the wisdom of the fathers of the United States in providing for the separation of church and state. They knew that absolute power would corrupt absolutely, and would eventually cause one religious belief system to terrorize any other that did not agree with them. Christians serving in politics MAY be okay, but only if they have the maturity and wisdom not to promote their own religious agenda, and the Holy Spirit discipline to separate themselves from the EVIL of negative politics and belittling and bashing of the opposing party! They will know we are Christians by our LOVE, not our evil bashing! We should pray for our leaders, for wisdom, and do all we can to promote peace. Religious power alone is not enough for the antichrist spirit. It also seeks world domination through political power for the purpose of controlling the minds and well-being of the entire world under the guise of "moral right." We have seen that power at work in recent months with radical Islam. Need I say anymore? Jesus Christ never once promoted a political agenda or sought political power. Of course, the devil tempted him with political power when he was in the wilderness. Judas Iscariot followed Jesus because he thought Jesus was the one to cause the overthrow of the Romans in Israel. It did not happen. The quest for political power in order to promote a religious agenda is NOT of God -- it is SABTECHAH. And, finally....
A. Spirit of religious apostasy ~ spiritual Babylon ~ no unity.... Finally, here it is -- Nimrod! The end result of the apostate church! What did Nimrod do? He built the "Tower of Babel" and was also the founder of "Babylon." Likewise, the apostate church today is building the Tower of Babel again! The very meaning of his name is "apostate rebel." What makes him a rebel is that he has turned from the conversation of heaven to the conversation of the world! It says in Genesis 10:8 that Nimrod began to be a mighty one in the earth, just as the apostate church has begun to be a mighty one in today's earth. He built many cities, just as the apostate church today has duplicated itself many times over. It says he was a mighty hunter, just as the apostate church today has become mighty in so-called evangelism. This is what the scripture says about the Tower of Babel:
Does not the Tower of Babel sound like many of the institutions
in Christianity today? Yes, it does. Just like it. We wonder in Christianity why it is that there is no unity. And why it is that we have so many different denominations and beliefs, all claiming to have the truth. The reason there is no unity and so many different denominations and beliefs is because God will not allow the evil of the apostate church to become concentrated! He will not allow it to happen. It is a move of God -- not Satan! Read again the reason for the scattering in Genesis 11:4-9. We see this selfsame thing happening in Daniel 12:7...
The scattering of the holy people is an act of God so that the apostate church will not become too powerful. What we see in Christianity today is many, many different languages coming from many different denominations. Absolutely everyone has a different opinion about things and absolutely everyone is having a different revelation. Is this error or a mistake? I think not. It is as the Tower of Babel -- it is an act of God scattering the languages (thoughts, opinions, ideas). Nimrod is the end result, the final manifestation of the spirit of religious apostasy. He IS that man of sin that sits in the temple of God (the church) showing himself that he is God! He's crept in our back door while we have been busy doing everything else! The genealogy of Cush ~ the natural progression that leads to religious apostasy! The road to falling away! As it was for the Jews at the time of Jesus Christ, likewise Christianity has taken that same rout, but PRAISE GOD, as apostate Judaism ended with a manifestation, so too will apostate Christianity end with yet another manifestation!
This text is not saying that ALL Christian ministries and/or evangelists are the apostate church! God forbid! There are indeed many who have a pure heart and wish nothing other than to glorify God and remain in his will. It is here that we must have the spirit of discernment to the best of our ability from that place in the middle, the place of wisdom. Jesus gave us many guidelines in order to recognize what is not "kosher." Generally speaking, the true church of Jesus Christ remains in it, but not of it. Those who choose to remain do so for the sake of their brothers and sisters in Christ. Brothers and sisters in Christ -- if you have gotten this far in this text, there is yet hope for the church of Jesus Christ. By this time, many have tossed this in the trash without ever considering the proofs. Why is this? They do not want to see the proofs because it offends very well-established belief systems that have become entrenched within the apostate church and if it was true, it would be the horror of horrors! Therefore, it is not the wish of Eighth Day Assembly to end on a negative note. It will end with hope and a promise! I promised you a happy ending! There is a happy ending! And we find the happy ending in the story related in Acts chapter 12.
