Identity of the Serpent

Throughout Christianity there have been many articles attempting to reveal the true identity of the serpent as seen in Genesis 3:1.....

Genesis 3:1
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Because of our preoccupation with making something literal out of something spiritual, many have been taught and believe that the serpent is this invisible devil-being floating around in the air attacking us from the literal outside like some kamikaze dive bomber! Or, a more accurate version of the serpent is a little devil sitting on our shoulder, whispering in our ear. In either case, the devil is perceived as this thing existing outside and apart from us in some other realm in which it influences our mind from without.

This article hopes to offer Sod insight into the true identity of the serpent. Sod insight is the Hebrew fourth level of spiritual understanding, meaning, inner, mystical (see our article on the 4 Levels of Biblical Understanding). It's what lies beneath the realm of the literal (physical outside), in the realm of the spiritual (inside). By definition, when using the term "literal," it means something originating outside (of us), moving inward. The term "spiritual" means something originating inside (of us), moving outward.

In order to better understand the identity of the serpent, we must first look at the different foundations of creation thought in both Christianity and Judaism.....

Christian literalists believe that the creation of the heavens and the earth as revealed in Genesis 1 was completed in 6 literal, 24 hour earth days. Unfortunately, they spend a great deal of time and effort trying to prove it unsuccessfully thereby making Christianity appear to be absolutely stupid!

There are many other Christians who believe that the creation as revealed in Genesis 1 was completed in 6 heaven days, which could have taken millions even billions of literal earth years.

Then there is Judaism. Unlike Christianity, Judaism teaches that there were people on the earth before Adam and Eve, but that Adam and Eve were the first people MADE IN THE IMAGE OF GOD (which this ministry agrees with entirely)!

Even more puzzling to both Christian camps of creation thought are the differences in details found in Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. Many have tried to understand and explain why Genesis 2 seems to be a repeat of Genesis 1, like they are two separate stories of the same event. Unbelievers use these differences in details as weapons against us, trying to prove their point that they are inconsistencies thereby proving the story is man-made.

There is yet another understanding of Genesis 1 & 2 that this ministry believes is the heart of the matter, leaving the other Christian camps and factions behind in the "dust," so to speak. This understanding is very simple.....the word creation in Genesis 1 is not the making of what is physical, as most believe, but rather the forming of the ideal that God the Father first formed by and in His own WILL, which ideal Judaism states is both a spiritual reality and a person within itself!

The word creation in Hebrew means, to cut down a wood, select, feed as formative processes, choose, as in the carving out of an idea or ideal. God our Father was first forming the ideal by, in, and through His own WILL, picking and choosing how He wanted it to be. The Hebrew word creation has the same meaning as the Greek root word for will in the New Testament [Strong's G2309 - thelo, in Matthew 6:10 ~ ...thy WILL be done...]. This is the creation story of Genesis 1. It has absolutely nothing to do with 6 literal, 24 hour days!

Please do not think that God's ideal is the same as our own carnal understanding of ideas and ideals............

THE IDEAL OF GOD HAS TO DO WITH HIS
ULTIMATE WILL, PURPOSE, AND PRE-DESTINATION !

In fact, the entire plan and purpose of God for mankind and all things was purposed and created FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END, right there in Genesis 1. Absolutely nothing has been an accident. We have the Alpha and the Omega, the Aleph and the Tav, right there! It was awesome then, awesome now, and awesome in the ages to come!

Judaism teaches us that the Will of God is kether (keter), the crown that extends from the top to the bottom of all manifestation!

The Crown or Will of God (Strong's H3804 kether - crown) is the diadem, the circlet, the fence that encircled and the foundation upon which the Garden was formed, into which the man was placed. Man was placed INSIDE OF GOD'S WILL, PRE-ORDAINED, AND PRE-DESTINED BY HIS WILL!

In Genesis 2, God the Father proceeded to make a physical reality of what was beforehand a Will, Purpose, Pre-Destination! Genesis 1 ~ the Will, Genesis 2 ~ the actual birthing process of the manifestation of that Will! We see this in the definition of the root word for generations in Genesis 2:4.....

Genesis 2:4
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

The root word for generations means ~ to bear, birth, bring forth.

We see the definitions of this divine Will revealed in the prayer by Jesus in Matthew 6:10:

Matthew 6:10
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

In this passage, the word WILL is Strong's G2307 - thelema ~ a determination, choice, purpose, decree; volition, inclination:--desire, pleasure, will. The root word is G2309 ~ choose or prefer, wish, be inclined to, to be about to; to delight in, desire, be disposed, intend, list, love, mean, please, have rather, will, will have.

All the definitions for God's Will in Matthew 6:10 are speaking of that exact same Will taking place in Genesis 1.

What is so interesting is that the word DONE (...thy will be DONE...), is Strong's G1096 - ginomai - which means to cause to be, to generate, bear, or bring forth.

The definitions for the word DONE in Matthew 6:10 are speaking of the exact same thing as the birthing of the generations in Genesis 2! .....thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven..... First there is a Will (Genesis 1), then the birthing (Genesis 2). The scriptures in Genesis 2:4 and Matthew 6:10 are connected revealing this same principle.

Likewise, as in our own minds, before anything becomes a reality, we first get the idea in our minds. We make a mental picture of the ideal, how we want it to be and to work, but ~ it is not yet a reality in the physical sense, but is indeed a reality in the spiritual sense. Many people today patent or copyright their ideas before they are an actual reality. Then, we set out to make our idea a physical reality. Sometimes in making our ideal a physical reality, things need to be changed to accommodate the circumstances at each stage. It is right here that we see the reason for the differences in details in Genesis 1 & 2. Genesis 1 is the Will being directed to a specific purpose. Genesis 2 is the actual birthing, or manifestation of that Will in the physical sense, with changes to accommodate the circumstances!

Now, to take this understanding another step deeper ~ the creation and manifestation of the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1 & 2 are also the creation and manifestation of the human ~ MIND made in the image of God with all it's factions! When the term "mind" is used, it does not mean "brain," but rather, what is inside the brain. It is not the brain that causes the mind to function, but rather the mind that causes the brain to function! The mind is what separates us from other creatures and animals, and is what makes us uniquely different in the universe with also the unique ability for both God perception and worship!

The earth, as referred to in Genesis 2, is also referring to the mind. In our mind (earth) there exists both land (intellect) and sea (emotions). In the sea (emotions) of our mind, God made all manner of sea creatures (Genesis 1:21), which are different aspects of our emotions. Likewise, in the land (intellect) of our mind, God made what are called beasts of the field (land creatures), which are, in fact, different aspects of our intellect!

As one begins to understand that everything in Genesis 2 is also referring to the inner-workings of our own mind, the symbolism of the beasts, plants, herbs of the field, trees, rivers, and everything else, begins to take on a very rich and deep meaning. We are able to see what is actually happening on the inside of the man and woman Adam! People want to know why ~ what were Adam & Eve thinking? Well, the answer is right here, in the symbolism!

Genesis 2:19-20
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

In Genesis 2:20, it states that it was Adam who gave names to all the beasts of the field. It was Adam who named this particular beast of the field the SERPENT.

Genesis 3:1
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

The root meaning of the word serpent is the Hebrew word nachash (H5172), which means ~ to hiss, or whisper; to foretell or make a prediction; to learn by experience; TO DILIGENTLY OBSERVE.

We generally predict or determine something based upon learning from our own experience. We determine that if we do this ~ that will happen (this is also a prediction).

The identity of the serpent is.....

our own power of discernment
our own power to determine or DISCERN!

which lives inside our own minds, in our own intellect -- a beast of the field (not Lucifer, as some have stated). The serpent did not live in a literal tree and approach Eve from the literal outside. The serpent lived inside Eve, in her own mind!

Discernment is a power in our minds having to do with inner sight, or insight, which is one of the definitions of the word serpent ~ to diligently observe. It is our inner eyes. As it says in Genesis 3:7.....

Genesis 3:7
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Discernment also stresses skill and accuracy as in reading character or appreciating art. It is the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure. The power to separate, distinguish between, sift. To see or understand the difference. The power to discern through the 5 physical senses.

Discernment operates through 5 channels ~ discrimination, perception, penetration, insight, and acumen, that are connected to the 5 physical senses.

1.) Discrimination emphasizes a capacity for distinguishing and selecting the appropriate and true.
2.) Perception implies quick, acute discernment from the 5 physical senses.
3.) Penetration implies a searching mind that goes beyond the obvious or superficial.
4.) Insight emphasizes depth of discernment coupled with understanding.
5.) Acumen suggests consistent penetration accompanied by shrewd soundness of judgment.

As you can see, all of the above are necessary ingredients in order for our minds to function properly. Without discernment, we would not be able to process information so that we might come ~ to know. To know good from evil!

Originally, in the Will (Genesis 1), God planned for the serpent to be a useful servant unto the man and woman, Adam, so that the man and woman might come to experience the blessings of all things. However, when discernment got together with physical reality (the world), and the channels of the 5 physical senses (the flesh), we see something else happening.....

Iniquity!

Ezekiel 28:15
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Lucifer is/was, in fact, ADAM, and the serpent is found IN Adam. The serpent was the iniquity of our error in discernment!

What then is iniquity? One of the definitions of the Hebrew root word for iniquity is ~ (H5765 aval) ~ to distort (morally). Iniquity is our faulty discernment that becomes distorted by the world and the flesh.

What then is the original sin? The original sin is faulty discernment! In that sense, sin is an error, or mistake in discernment! The Greek root definition of sin is (G264 hamartano) ~ to miss the mark and so not share in the prize, to err. All manner of sins and evils (plural) stem from errors in discernment, FIRST.

Many have made the mistake in perception that the original sin of Eve was literal, physical sex, (again this error comes from literalists). Discernment is a kind of spiritual sex, but it is something that happens inwardly, not outwardly ! It is not referring to literal, physical sex as many erroneously believe! There's an old saying ~ "You BECOME whatsoever you identify (join) yourself with!" That joining is not referring to literal, physical sex. It is referring to a discernment made in the mind joined with the world and the flesh! It is something that can, indeed, become physical, but it first starts as a determination in the mind based upon an error in discernment ~ the seat of sin!

Discernment fell thereby affecting the tri-unity of our perfect Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge, which then became carnal wisdom, understanding, and knowledge.

Since Jesus Christ was without sin, he was without an error in discernment. He, the Last Adam, is the only one to have Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge acting properly as a trinity in the ideal. He had no errors in discernment, therefore, his identity was true and pure. He was indeed the Son of God.

We have seen that the serpent (discernment) operates through the channels of the 5 physical senses. They are:

1.) touch 2.) taste 3.) smell 4.) hearing 5.) seeing

If you read what Eve experienced in Genesis 3:6, you see the activation of those same 5 physical senses. What she experienced is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, as stated in 1 John 2:16.....

1 John 2:16
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Genesis 3:6
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food ~ LUST OF THE FLESH
and that it was pleasant to the eyes ~ LUST OF THE EYES
and a tree to be desired to make one wise ~ PRIDE OF LIFE
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

She heard the serpent ~ hearing sense
She saw the fruit ~ sight sense
She took ~ touch sense
She did eat ~ taste & smell senses (you cannot taste without smelling)

It says in James 3:13-18.....

James 3:13-18
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Eve experienced an error in discernment. She thought the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would give her the wisdom that is from above, but what she got in her perception was the wisdom that decendeth not from above.

One of the characteristics of the serpent (our discernment) as seen in the root definition of it's name nachash (H5172) is ~ to hiss, or to whisper.

A hiss or whisper is, in fact, a suggestion to the mind ~ a thought to entertain. And, what are thoughts? Thoughts are angels - the divine messengers! Angels of God, or fallen angels! It says in Genesis 1:3.....

Genesis 1:3
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

When God SAID -- He used his voice. A voice is much different than a whisper. When one says a word, you get vibration in the voice box. This vibration is, in fact, LIFE! When one whispers, you get no vibration in the voice box, because it's just air blown through the mouth. A whisper may appear to be words, but, in fact, they are not genuine words spoken. They are a copy of words spoken. Since a whisper does not have any vibration, it has no Life ~ it is a copy of Life!

When God SAID ~ the vibration of Life was expelled from the Godhead to form the Light of Knowledge. In our own minds, we get many ideas and ideals, but they are generally formed in the light of that wisdom that descends not from above, because the manifestation of the Fruit in our lives is many times anything but peace!

Again, who is the serpent? He is our very own power of discernment that lives in our own carnal mind! He's not out there, but rather, right here in us from birth to death. He is also a natural part of the human experience of life in this world.

Because of the determination by Adam and Eve, based upon the error, God placed a curse upon the discernment.....

Genesis 3:14
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

We see in Genesis 3:14 that the discernment is doomed to eat the dust of the earth all the days of its life. What is dust? Dust is this physical reality. It's perception based solely upon what is literal, or insight based upon the literal. A perception that is doomed to perceiving only what is literal, and unable to comprehend what is spiritual! This literal perception also resists what is spiritual.

The dust of the ground is where our physical body and carnal mind go when we die a physical death. Perceiving what is literal is the food of the serpent, because that is all that it understands. It's what keeps it going, keeps it alive! This is why many who live in error are unable to see the spiritual implications of the Word of God, or refuse to see that the Word of God is to be perceived from a spiritual perspective instead of from a literal perspective (this especially applies to the book of Revelation). They are only interested in the literal, and take what is wholly spiritual, and make it something wholly literal, thereby perverting Truth!

Identity of Satan

The fall of discernment is the fall of identity. As you will see later in this article, Lucifer is the IDENTITY of the FIRST ADAM! Our carnal identity exists with many different factions within us (land beasts, sea beasts), of which the serpent and Satan are a part.

Many think that the serpent, Lucifer, and Satan, are all the the same personality. Actually, the serpent and Satan are only different factions of our own carnal identity. The Greek meaning for the word, Satan, is (G4567) ~ the accuser, or in Hebrew (H7854) ~ an opponent, to resist.

Satan is the condemnation birthed by our own guilty, carnal heart. He is the FRUIT, the SON of perdition (error)! He is the guilt and condemnation birthed within us when our carnal mind joins with our own lusts and error in discernment. In fact, Satan is the fig leaf that guilty Adam & Eve attempted to cover themselves with after their sin! It's the false veil, the false clothing, that we use to cover us! The fig leaf is the manifestation of the accuser, it is Satan, the fruit or manifestation of our own error in discernment.

Once we join our error in discernment with our own lusts, and make a determination, it births the judge! That judge is Satan, the accuser. A judge makes a determination as to the outcome of any case standing before him/her. Hence, the meaning of acumen ~ consistent penetration accompanied by shrewd soundness of judgment ~ which is one of the channels of the discernment as seen above. Having our erroneous discernment as judge is very difficult on absolutely everyone, including our own selves. It judges everything, especially ourselves! It tells us we are naked and it covers our nakedness with guilt.

In addition to judging ourselves, we also judge others. Just a few of our traits as judge are ~ we look down our noses on others; we believe we have THE only true revelation and resist teaching, or differences of opinion from anyone; we constantly criticize others under the guise of counsel, even religious counsel (example: the counselors in the book of Job); we become the advocate of our special causes; we believe in the death penalty; we become the prophets and teachers of righteous, right, and doom and gloom; and after criticizing everyone else for their own faults, if we recognize we have also done something wrong, we judge ourselves unmercifully, over and over again; we corrupt our spirit with guilt and remorse.

Satan, the accuser, the opponent, is not living outside of us in the air. He is inside of us every single moment of every single day, till the day we die a physical death ~ IN OUR OWN CARNAL MINDS! He does not USE our carnal minds, he IS our carnal minds! This is where he has been banished! When one looks for the devil, he does not have to look very far! All we have to do is look into our own minds, into our own character! This is why Jesus said to Peter.....

Matthew 16:22-23
22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

Satan even judged Jesus Christ! Jesus recognized that it was Satan (the son, fruit, of Peter's faulty discernment), speaking to him. Yes, Satan, whose father is the serpent is and always will be in us too, in our own carnal minds, making erroneous conclusions and judgments, just as Peter did toward Jesus. Jesus was recognizing and addressing the fruit of Peter's faulty discernment, hence he called it by name, Satan! The moment Jesus directly addressed him like that, one can actually see Peter's carnal discernment crumble under "the Words" of Christ.

Do not look for Satan, and the serpent in any other place other than in ourselves, and recognize, in love, the serpent in others as well. As long as there is the world and the flesh, there is also the serpent. Yet, in all of this, there is Hope in Christ!

I Corinthians 2:12-16
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Philippians 2:5
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

The mind we were born with is of this world and will return to the dust when we are gone. What goes to heaven is the renewed mind in Christ. Jesus said.....

Luke 17:21
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Heaven and the kingdom is within us, in the mind of Christ, not outside of us up in the literal sky. Hell is also within us. Within us exists a reality one is unable to comprehend while still living in the flesh. Stop looking at what is outside in the world and begin focusing on what is inside in the spirit.

Romans 8:5-8
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Identity of Lucifer

It is difficult for us as we traverse through life with this curse upon our own discernment. We must constantly be aware of what we are doing and saying. Better yet, it is much better for us to just LOVE. If we love, then we can be fairly assured that we are walking in the Spirit! The following scripture says it all!

I Corinthians 13:1-3
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Look at Ezekiel 28:13.....

Ezekiel 28:13
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

I Corinthians 13 is speaking of US, with a list of things we do to cover, or bedeck ourselves religiously. If done without love, these things become as sounding brass and tinkling cymbal. Ezekiel 28 is ALSO SPEAKING OF US, the first Adam. We are the fallen LUCIFER! And, like I Corinthians 13, Ezekiel 28:13 also gives us a list of things that were Lucifer's coverings, and mentions the tabrets and pipes that were prepared in him in the divine Will! These tabrets and pipes in Ezekiel 28:13, are the selfsame sounding brass and tinkling cymbal mentioned in I Corinthians 13! The tabrets and pipes became the sounding brass and tinkling cymbal after the error in discernment! The apostle Paul knew, as we also should know, that the serpent, and Satan are nothing more than what is within us, and Lucifer is nothing more than the fallen identity of the first Adam that became our own carnal nature.

Identity of the Red Dragon

After discovering who Lucifer, the serpent, and Satan are, one might want to also include the identity of the DRAGON in Revelation 12:3.....

Revelation 12:3
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

There are many suppositions as to the identity of the dragon, but there is yet another understanding not yet spoken of. The red dragon spoken of in Revelation 12:3 is a symbol of this present PHYSICAL DIMENSION of corruption, whose tail is TIME ! When Lucifer, the first Adam sinned, the reality of heaven became our present physical reality of earth!

We see evidence that the tail of the dragon is TIME, in the words Jesus spoke of regarding time, in Matthew 24:22.....

Matthew 24:22
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The Greek word SHORTENED is Strong's G2856, which means to dock, or abridge. In Webster's Dictionary, the word DOCK means ~ the cropped tail of an animal after clipping the end, to cut off the end of a body part, to remove part of the tail, to subject to a penalty or fault. Time, the tail of the dragon, has been shortened! This is the reason why this physical dimension will not last!

A tail is also a natural appendage of something. Time is the natural appendage of this physical dimension! Therefore, this physical dimension, in time, will NOT go on forever and ever as some have supposed. Additionally, the Kingdom of God will NOT be literally established in this physical dimension of time either, as many have believed that there will be a literal 1,000 year reign of Christ on this literal earth........It just will not happen!

I Corinthians 15:50
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

The dragon was a RED dragon, and what is the meaning of the word ADAM? In Strong's H119, the root of the word ADAM is -- to show blood in the face, flush or turn rosy -- be dyed or made red, ruddy. Adam was made from the DUST OF THE GROUND in Genesis 2:7. The Hebrew word GROUND is Strong's H127, adamah, meaning -- soil, from its redness........

Genesis 2:7
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The red dragon is this earthly PHYSICAL DIMENSION! We were once STARS, the bright and morning stars, but as stars, we HAD NO SUBSTANCE -- NO WEIGHT. The red dragon, this physical dimension, along with time, was created in order to give substance/weight/identity to the stars. The red dragon's tail -- time, drew us from the heavens into this physical dimension for the purpose of moving us from our relationship with God as angels to a new relationship with God the FATHER as SONS with inheritance! As the sons of God, we are no longer angels, and no longer human either. We are a NEW CREATURE, the quickening spirit of the LAST ADAM!

We are the lost sheep who once lived in the heavens as stars. Jesus came after us! It was WILLED He come after us before the beginning. He did not lose one of us except the son of perdition! Praise God! We've been brought back as NEW CREATURES -- SONS, in Christ with both substance, weight, and identity!

Our physical bodies were once made of the red dust of the earth, but we have a new body, the BODY OF CHRIST! Instead of the red substance of clay, we now are clothed with HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS! New body, new clothing.

This physical dimension has been put here for a purpose -- to bring forth the manifestation of sons. Lucifer, the serpent, Satan, and the red dragon have already been judged and will not share in our inheritance as sons.

As it states in Romans 8:19~22........

Romans 8:19-22
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

The creature, this physical dimension of time and corruption will be engulfed, or swallowed by us into the bottomless pit of our remembrance, and ignited into a lake of fire. That lake of fire is the light of the glory found in the manifestation of the sons of God, forever consuming the old in the fire of the light of glory !

Revelation 12:7-8
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Revelation 12 speaks of war in heaven. This war is the war we fight daily in the flesh in this physical reality of corruption and time, based upon the lusts of the 5 physical senses!

The apostle Paul states........

Romans 7:23-24
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

and Peter states........

I Peter 2:11
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

James also speaks of the lusts of this physical reality as an enemy of God........

James 4:3-4
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

The war in heaven spoken of in Revelation 12 is the war of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life in this reality of corruption. In the end these lusts will lose. Judaism believes that the Archangel Michael is the protector of Israel. Who is Israel? WE ARE! Israel is WITHIN US! Michael is the protector of our own spiritual Israel within us, and ultimately casts out the red dragon, the serpent, and Satan from having a place, a foothold within the heavenly realm WITHIN US! Daily he casts them to the earth to eat the dust of the earth IN US!

We were once drawn by the tail of the red dragon and swallowed up into this physical dimension of corruption just as Jonah was swallowed by the great fish, as the great fish was prepared by God for Jonah (Jonah 1:17),........

Jonah 1:17
17 Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Likewise, the red dragon was prepared by God to swallow us up for the purpose of BRINGING FORTH THE FORMER STARS AS MANIFESTED SONS! If we have been buried with Christ, we are also raised with Christ.

Romans 6:3-4
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

This newness of life is the PRE-DETERMINED WILL OF GOD ESTABLISHED FOR US FROM BEFORE THE BEGINNING!

In the end, this physical dimension with its tail appendage of time will be swallowed by the appearing, thereby establishing a New Dimension of Incorruption called the New Heaven and the New Earth!

Lucifer (our first Adam carnal identity); serpent (our own power of discernment); Satan (the judge birthed from our own error in discernment); and the Red Dragon (this corrupted dimension of physical reality with time as its tail), will all be done away!

Romans 8:20

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope......

That hope was the PRE-DETERMINED WILL (the finished works) of Genesis 1, delivered unto us by the LAST ADAM, Jesus Christ!

John 4:34
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

And again........

I Corinthians 15:45-49
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

We return again unto the New Heaven and the New Earth as NEW CREATURES! Not as angels or flickering stars that go "blink, blink," but as the pre-determined MANIFESTED SONS! In the heavens we were seeds, but now we are sons! It was a good thing that we came this way!

Romans 8:18-19
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

The red dragon (this dimension of corrupted reality), may have had us once, but it cannot keep us!

THAT IS THE PRE-DESTINED WILL OF GOD PREPARED IN US
FROM BEFORE THE BEGINNING!
