Prayer "Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. {37} And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

{38} Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. {39} And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

{40} And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour? {41} Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

{42} He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done. {43} And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

{44} And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words." (Mat 26:36-44 KJV)

Behold, I Stand at the Door and Knock

Behold, I stand at the door and knock

Jesus says:

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches." (Revelations_3:19-22)

Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

'Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, And to take Him at His Word;
Just to rest upon His promise, And to know, "Thus says the Lord!"

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him over and over
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

O how sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to trust His cleansing blood;
And in simple faith to plunge me Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him over and over
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

Yes, 'tis sweet to trust in Jesus, Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking Life and rest, and joy and peace.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him over and over
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!

I'm so glad I learned to trust Thee, Precious Jesus, Savior, friend;
And I know that Thou art with me, Wilt be with me to the end.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I've proved Him over and over
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!
