When we talk about AAUW-Tustin Branch, we think of the many accomplishments, much effort and a great deal of fun and friendship that has comprised the past twenty-five years of our organization.  The list of names is nearly endless of those who have contributed to the success of our Branch.

Back in 1977 Vernell Ditter and Sharon Paisley, the founders of our Branch, had a vision of what they, along with other enthusiastic members, would like to accomplish; women’s education and equity ever in the forefront of that vision.

Twenty-five years later that vision still exists, is still endorsed and carried out by many of the charter and long-term members, along with new and inspirational members.

   On Saturday, March 9, 2002, we celebrated these  accomplishments with an anniversary luncheon at the Sutton Place Hotel in Newport Beach with a retrospective of the past twenty-five years.  Highlights of the day included attendance by thirteen of our twenty-three past presidents, and  presentations by then briefly recapping their presidency.  The celebration also include a visual retrospective of the many programs, fund raising efforts and "fun-raising" activities throughout the years.
