The AAUW Educational Foundation is one of the nation's largest sources
of private funding for educational programs that directly benefit women
and girls. On the national level the Foundation funds:
· groundbreaking research;
· fellowships and grants;
· special awards;
· vital community action projects; and
· symposia, roundtables, and forums.
The fellowship and grants component is the largest source of funding
in the world exclusively for graduate women. Each year the AAUW Educational
Foundation distributes more than $3.3 million in fellowships, grants and
awards.
Monies raised by the Tustin Branch for the Educational Foundation
go to support these National grants, projects, awards and fellowships.
