Flags Magic Mountain and Universal Studios Hollywood.

Outdoors
One of
the premier Ecological Reserves in Southern California, Upper Newport Bay, also known as Back
Bay, is right behind the show site. This five mile long birdwatcher's paradise
provides a wonderful trail to take long walks with your Tervs.
Newport Beach
itself is a center of outdoor activities in Orange County. You can take a harbor
cruise, go sportfishing or sailing, enjoy a stroll along the pier, or just take in the
local color. There is even a "Fun Zone" carnival area for the young at
heart. And of course, miles of beaches are available for those who would rather
while away the hours sunbathing or playing in the surf.

Shopping
Orange
County has some of the finest shopping areas in the world. Within walking distance
of the Hyatt Newporter is Fashion Island.
This huge outdoor mall features over 200 stores, including Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus,
and Macy's.
Another world class shopping experience can be found just 6 miles
away at South Coast Plaza. With
Macy's, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue, South Coast is truly a experience not to be
missed.
For a more charming and picturesque shopping experience, there are
excellent small-town shops and galleries in Corona Del Mar, Lido Marina Village, and Cannery Village, all in
the Newport Beach area.

few miles South along Pacific Coast Highway is Laguna
Beach. With its beautiful beachfront and outstanding art galleries, it should
not be missed.
For a truly memorable day out, you might want to try a boat trip to
Catalina Island. The Catalina Flyer
leaves Newport Harbor every morning at 9AM. Spend the day at one of the most
uniquely enjoyable places in California.
