CONDITIONS OF CONTEST

 

1). All games will be stratified. Strata are:

 

A – 1500+

B – 300 - 1500

C – 0 – 300

 

2). Clubs may hold a ONE or TWO SESSION SWISS TEAM EVENT and may, at the local director’s discretion, use the above strata or adjust the strata to achieve three teams in the lowest strata. SWISS TEAMS ARE SIDE GAME EVENTS.

 

3). GAMES MUST HAVE THREE (3) TABLES TO QUALIFY FOR DISTRICT OVERALL RANKING.

 

4). PLAYERS MAY PLAY IN ONLY ONE GAME THAT WILL BE SCORED IN THE SAME SESSION.

 

5). We encourage invitational games to open their sessions for this event. Restricted games will be scored as side games. We also encourage clubs to add sessions at any time during the STaC that do not conflict with established games in the area.

 

6). STaC GAME SETUP. Setup the game in the normal manner. On the EVENT RATING screen select 9, and on the next screen select 1. On the TOURNAMENT DATA SCREEN complete blank lines and enter ST0904083 as the sanction number and the EVENT CODE for your game from the STaC schedule. DO NOT DBADD THE GAME WHEN COMPLETED. ALL POINTS ARE AWARDED BY THE ACBL WHEN THE STaC RESULTS ARE SENT TO THE ACBL.

 

7). Game results must be e-mailed or called in to the Director in Charge, Jay Albright, e-mail jalb@insight.rr.com, (614) 891-3817, within 36 hours of game end. Put the following information in the subject line of your e-mail: Your club name, your club sanction number, and the file name. For example: Jim’s DBC, 987654, 090331M. This will greatly assist the DIC to put your game in the proper session and speed the process of posting and accuracy of the results. Failure to report on time may mean no masterpoints for your players. If you use ACBLSCOR, you may use the BACK command to backup your game file. Save it to your root directory(c:\). The file will have a 0903xx.acm, 0904xx.acm, 0903xx.aca, 0904xx.aca, 0903xx.ace or 0904xx.ace filename. Attach it to an email and forward to Richard. If you cannot do that, please call him and make sure you have a copy of the short press in front of you so he can get all the necessary information. This includes the ACBL number for all participants in your game with their raw score. He will also need names of all non-members participating. Results and schedule will be posted on the WEB at the following address: www.acbl15.com

8). Some type of profit will be returned to the Unit as designated by the District 15 Board. Fees are $7.00/Table/Session ($1.75/Person/Session). PLEASE MAKE CHECKS FOR THE GAME FEES PAYABLE TO JOHN E. GLAGOLA and send to me at:
