Cryin’ Why

Thinkin' and wonderin' how I'm running these days

Thinkin' and wonderin' why I'm crying today

Do I seem to be one of the strong of our society?

Tell me, have I fooled anybody

Defense's up, how could you ever think, you ever truly knew me

Oh, no do we know anybody

Entrapped in caskets of flesh that are connecting us to society

Engrossed in this world voiding our soul's intent our aim, end, duty.

'Cause they’re too many times when you're thinkin' and wonderin' and tryin' and cryin' why

Too many times when life doesn't warrant trying crying why

Too many times when you try to stand and others just pass you by

Too many times

Too many times

There's no need to tell me how it feels, to be alone in a sea of humanity

Oh-no there's no need to tell, anybody

But we all try so damn hard to get ahead,

Are you ahead of me?

Instead of helping each other lashing out for some false sense of liberty

I find myself lost in my own incoherent sea

Find myself boarding my train of inconsistency

And through all this I’m wondering if I could ever truly find... Myself at all
