Ghosts of Mine

Uninvited, they dance

Inside my mind

Like Dali rapped over my synapse

Remnants of a love surpassed

Valued as a mistake, photograph

Dreading their return

I contemplate

Time spent unwinding

The Pain of lost ones of lost love

Tormented, as my mind unravels time

Images, Possess my mind

Of love ones left so far behind

Unions severed, in pursuit of bliss

Contempt of Priests, fiends, angels and witches

Experience builds, as I ride my dory

The Titanic in the Atlantic, reminiscent of a history

I loved once and sank like she

Ghosts of mine, resemble love

Ghosts of mine, Represent heartaches and abandon

Ghosts of mine, tend to portray

Their gaiety compared, to my dismay.
