Running

Well I’ve been looking around, I’ve been looking around here

I’m searching for something in which I could adhere

I’m riding up and down this slide

Searching for a place in which I could hide

I’m running

Running away

From all these feelings I carry each and every day

I’m running from A I’m running from B

The truth of the matter’s that I’m running from me

Well the past may come knocking on your front door

But like the shops downtown I’m open twenty or more

I can’t seem to escape these things that haunt me

Tell me why must I suffer from your history

Well now you may not remember but I look in your eyes

And it unburies the past I’ve hidden inside

And although I love you and I always will

This is one thing you can’t, walk away from at will
