So Long Since I've Seen Me

Taste of Coffee on my lips, feel of steel on my fingertips

Things in life that make living worthwhile, kinds words a gentle smile

My breathe exhales melodies as I prescribe my soul a remedy

Take the time to unwind, wash away the ties that bind

Been so long since I’ve been here

Been so long since I’ve seen you, my dear

Been so long since I’ve been free

Been so long since I’ve seen me

Cool breeze blowin’ through my hair, can’t find a care anywhere

My soul unearthed my thoughts unleashed, unconscious in my inner peace

Feel love scattered all around, embrace the world’s gentle sounds

Run my hands through an endless stream, allow my mind to embrace my dreams

Have you seen, the man I used to be

Have you seen, the life, the love the one I used to be

Have you seen me

Engulfed inside an endless dream, reflect on that which I have been

More often than not I’ve passed my soul by, I hear the distant cry of its lullaby
