Tornadoes of Late

There’s this feeling that burning inside of me

And this feeling’s burned many away from me

It’s not of love nor hate, nor lies

Only tornadoes of late, burning inside

Friends of mine kindle this flame

And I’m fighting these feelings for their not to blame

But I can turn away for inside of me

Tornadoes of late, won’t let me be

I feel this pulling stifling love

And it pulls me away from my place with the dove

These feelings inside are ruining me

Tornadoes of Late, won’t let me be

Now, I’ve been pulled away from the ones that I’ve loved

Only proving what dreams are not made of

I still feel this pulling inside of my soul

Tornadoes of late, taking their toll
