Christmas 2004
I hope you all had a nice Christmas.
We had a nice family dinner at Gina's house last night. Mom & Dad, Gina, Ron and their kids Stephanie & Roger, Fred and his daughter Jessica, Julie and I. Plus Fred's son Phil and his daughter Autumn, her mom Sonia & husband Roy, Jess's friend Cassie and her mom DeeAnn. It was a nice size group and the food was great.
Julie and I went to midnight mass with Mom. It was beautiful, fabulous choir and soloists, and the church brings back so many memories of Julie's baptism and confirmation and all of the significant events of years gone by. It was nice being there with Julie and Mom again.
This morning Ed came over for Christmas breakfast and we enjoyed seeing his new toys (camera & pda). With a good fire burning (it was down to 34 last night!) we enjoyed exchanging gifts and stories.
Then this afternoon we spent with Julie's best friend and her family with a lovely buffet dinner and gift exchange. We laughed so hard as each person picked a gift and the next person could steal it from them or anyone else. It was hilarious! We had so much fun and I enjoyed meeting Julie's friend's parents and families.
Tonight I am home exhausted and Julie is on her way to yet another celebration with her friends at their apartment. To have the energy of youth!
Merry Christmas to all of you! I wish we could have all been together! Here are a few pics I hope you enjoy.
