I have been looking for information on my grandmother, Ellen Burke Ryan. I believe her mother's name was Josephine. I am unclear as to her father's name but am guessing that it may have been Thomas. My father, Thomas Francis Ryan may have been named after his mother's brother, Thomas Burke. Ellen was born in 1902 and Thomas later. They spent sometime in Maryville Academy. Their mother married again at some point and I think the name was Mc Cue. Ellen left Maryville in DesPlaines and I was told that she may have gone to live with a cousin's mother. Julia Maguire was my father's godmother, known to the family as Aunt Jewel. Any information would be appreciated.
