Back in June of 2002, I posted a Rich Text editing sample application to the Lotus Developer Domain. Based on an Active X control that is supplied with MS Internet Explorer 5.x and higher, this editor provided more funtionality than the standard java applet and its pretty cool to use (oh yeah...and FREE!). Since I have continued to play around and add functions to the editor, I decided to set up a basic web site in which to share the stuff I come up with.
All code is supplied in an open source Domino database. I am presenting everything in a very basic format that I hope that will let everyone see how things work. Most likely, there are of course better ways to implement some of this, but my aim is to keep it simple for demonstration purposes.
So check out the the site to read about features and limitations and of course to download the latest open source version.
