Bio

I was born in Miami, Florida, the first of two brothers and two sisters.  I have lived in Venezuela; France; and different regions of the U.S.A.  I am  married with two kids.  Vina and Paco sre awesome!

I received a B.S. in Comp Sci from UNLV in 1988 and an M.S. in Comp Sci from GMU in 2004.  I was admitted into the Ph.D. program at GMU but I had to postpone pursuing a doctorate to some extent because of the addition of Paco into our family.

A recent interest of mine is Correspondence Chess.  I  am playing quite a bit on the ICCF web server.  My best accomplishment to date is qualifying  for the USCC Championship Web Server Final #1.   From time to time I will post some CC games on this web page.

Finally, I have always dreamt of finishing a novel, and I hope I can come closer to fulfilling that goal this year!
