Family, Interests, and Current News
I was born in Miami,
Florida, the first of two brothers and two sisters. I have lived
in Venezuela; France; and different regions of the U.S.A. I am
married with two kids. Vina
and Paco are awesome!
I received a B.S. in Comp
Science (CS) from UNLV in 1988 and an M.S. in CS from GMU in 2004
(mostly concentrating on Artificial Intelligence).
I started a PhD in CS at GMU but unfortunately got too busy to
finish.
I'm a Correspondence Chess
master. I played in the U.S. Correspondence Chess Championship
(USCCC) final (1st Web Server) and finished with an even score. I
have also qualified for the current USCCC 18th final.
Finally, I am currently
writing a novel, and I expect to serialize it on my web page so my
friends can read it. Stay posted!
