This website is
a dedication to the kids and parents who participated in soccer
competition in 2005 and the years ahead. Hello, My name is Remigio
Algoso Jr., I'm a Soccer Dad, and these are my adventures. I'm from San
Diego, California, and this is my website where I will post the names
and pictures of the kids in my teams!
I never thought
coaching kids could be so much fun. Actually, the reason I got into
coaching is because of my two kids, Jerry May, my 8 year old daughter,
and Derrick, my 5 year old boy. The whole family had so much fun last
year that we decided we're going to do this 'till the kids are all grown
up! Another reason is getting actively involved in the community. I
personally feel I'm making a contribution, no matter how small it is, to
the community, especially to my kids and the other members of my team,
as far as having fun playing soccer, and teaching them a level of
discipline. This is strictly voluntary, any Dad who wants to do some
coaching can volunteer to coach. The only payback is the delight you get
watching the kids play!

About Soccer in the U.S. - Do
Americans really hate soccer? Or is that but an old habit that's slowly
dying? Check out this Nike presentation.
Spring Valley YSC (Youth Soccer Club), Inc. kicks off on January 30,
2006 with Soccer School. Just like soccer camp, Soccer School is
intended to sharpen the young soccer player's technical skills. For kids
who never played before, this would be an excellent opportunity for them
to be introduced to the game of soccer. If you are from San Diego and
you would like more information, you may call me at (619)957-9218. or
