About Jesus Christ

    Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the End. I am a sinner. God is Holy and cannot abide with sin. Yet God loved us from the creation of the world and desired that no one should perish. You God new that we would fall away and be stained by sin. With that in mind he provided a way that the penalty for sin could be paid for. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that who ever believes in him will not perish, but have everlasting life." We can never earn salvation. We cannot be good enough, or be "sinless" enough. You see it only takes one sin to separate us from God. So what did God do? He sent His only son, Jesus, who is sinless and holy to be a sacrifice for us. His son died on a cross approximately 2000 years ago to pay the price for our sin, so that we might be purified by his blood shed on the cross. It was through his death that he paved the way for us to be saved and spend eternity with God. All we have to do is accept his free gift of salvation by believing in him and asking him to forgive our sins. By making Jesus our Lord and Savior, we are counted as righteous in God's eyes because Jesus is our righteousness. Anyone can be saved, and indeed God desires that everyone would be saved. 
    Still not convinced? That's ok. Jesus loves you and would never pressure you or try to scare you. You may have known people who have tried to "convert" you using those tactics, but those are not the ways God works, that is the way flawed people work. People like you and me. If you are curious though, read His word, the bible and get involved in a local bible believing church. They can help answer your questions. Its all in his book.
