Thoughts and Memories

My father, Curtis E. Nichols, was born in1885. He was 46years old when I was born.  He was a extrovert and enjoyed talking and telling stories at dinner time.  Unfortunately the conversation was around current activities. He seldom talked about his early life and his feelings about that time.  We did not hear what he thought at age 15  when Teddy Roosevelt became president, or what he thought at age 18 when the Wright brothers made their first airplane flight, or his mode of transportation being a horse, or how he earned a living driving a horse drawn bread wagon, or even what happen during the first world war.  Now, as an adult, I wish I had heard some of those stories.

With this in mind I decided to record some of the changes in my life time, some personal events in my life and some of those thoughts.

I will be adding a new story each week. In order to see each story click on the title.
