I recently received the BWD-65 folded diapole antenna which I had ordered. The Baker and Williamson service was fast (3 days from date of order placement) and their Support Staff answered all of my questions when I called to order the antenna. Excellent service. I have the antenna installed in a very slight inverted "V" orientation. The center mast is 43 feet, end masts are 38 feet. The antenna performs better than advertised. The stainless steel version was not available due to back orders by the military. The antenna has excellent instructions and very easy to understand. The mounting kit is a must as far as I am concerned, saves a lot of time and effort. The antenna doesn't require a tuner to operate on any of the bands. Below are the results of SWR on bands checked with my antenna analyzer. The SWR was also checked on my Ten-Tec Paagon meter and were even lower than that of the analyzer. As advertised, tune to your frequency and go. I am copying stations and making contacts that were never heard before, like wise with MARS. It is also doing an outstanding job on all the digital modes. I have worked 100's of Dx stations that I was never capable of doing using my G5RV and the GAP Titan.

"Sign on, young man, and sail with me. The stature of our homeland is no more than the measure of ourselves. Our will is to keep the torch of freedom burning for all. To this solemn purpose we call on the young, the brave, the strong and the free.
Heed my call. Come to the sea. Come sail with me."
