Aluminum Cylinder Heads from Indy.
This is the most exciting development for AMC fans in a long time. Indy is offering 2 types of aluminum heads for AMC. Both options use stock head gaskets and sell for a little under $2000 a pair.
The 401-SR uses 2.10/Intake & 1.65/Exhaust valves with stock type rocker arms, intake and exhaust manifolds/headers. With 61cc combustion chamber. This is an easy replacement for 70-up dog-leg iron heads.
The 401-1 Uses bigger 2.19/Intake & 1.81/Exhaust valves
with special Indy offset rocker arm/440 shafts assembly, Indy or Edelbrock
intake manifolds, Chrysler style exhaust manifolds/headers and 58cc
Combustion chamber. This is for the serious racing enthusiast.
