Jimbo's Sausage & Hash Brown Quiche



Yield: 4 to 6 servings

4 - Hash brown patties, thawed
2 - Pork sausage patties
1/4 cup - Onion, diced
1/4 cup - Green pepper, diced
3 - Eggs, well beaten
1 tsp - Parsley
1/2 tsp - Salt
1/4 tsp - Garlic salt
1/4 tsp - Pepper
1 cup - Milk
4 slices - American processed cheese, cubed


Preheat oven to 425 F.
Place hash browns in a 9-inch pie plate and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and press potatoes onto bottom and 1" up the sides of the pan to form a crust.
Bake 10 more minutes. Remove crust and reduce heat to 350 degrees F.
Meanwhile, brown pork sausage patties, onion and green pepper in a skillet.
Using a spatula, chop patties into small pieces; drain.
Remove from heat and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients.


To assemble: Place sausage mixture in bottom of crust.
Pour milk and egg mixture on top.
Bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
