How the Sun came to be

After explaining what I wanted to the artist, Juan, he drew the sun I wanted onto paper then transferred the image on to my skin.

 Juan then began on the outline. 
Contrary to popular belief, the outline isn't the most painful of the process.

 Nope - that's not blood - just red ink. Coloring the flames was the most excruciating of the tattoo.

Almost finished. The last thing done was adding white to the eyes.

 The finished product! This tattoo took several (like 4) painful hours but I think it was worth it.
