NEWS CARRAIG
On the south-east coast of Liosliath, within the holdings of Docartaig, is the
Port City of Carraig, capital of Liosliath, home of the High Thane and very
likely the largest trading city on the continent.
An old city, it sits proudly nestled in a half-moon shape among the cliffs on
the west side of the Bay of Lathi. To the south-west of Carraig is the Stanyon
Mountains; to the north-east Caer Wiell, keep of the Docartaig clan. In the
city itself, an old ruined keep pays silent testimony to the many invaders who
have thought Carraig the key to Liosliath.
For a thousand years the White Tower, center of the castle of Caer Glas, have
watched over this place; this city in constant flux. People from the known
world have visited and stayed, adding their own culture to the mix. Over the
years, old streets and old buildings have been covered, half-torn down, and
half rebuilt, creating a warren of old streets and alleys.
None now know how many live in this cauldron of culture, of trade, of strife
and love. Built and rebuilt, the City is a warren of alleys and streets, of
buildings from a hundred cultures, of scents from hundreds more. This is where
they all come; merchants, outcasts, travelers, ambassadors, nobles from far
away lands and traders from every corner of Anwethia.
