About AIR
Autism Interventions and Resources, Inc. (AIR) is a Nonpublic Agency (NPA#1A-30-121),
certified by the California Department of Education to contract
with school districts to provide behavioral design and implementation
services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. AIR is also
vendored with the Regional Center of Orange County to provide
behavioral services.
Anahita P. Renner, M.A., B.C.B.A.,
founder and Clinical Director of Autism Interventions and Resources,
has over 10 years of experience providing early intensive behavioral
intervention services to children on various levels of the Autism
Spectrum. She is passionate and devoted to helping these children
reach their potential by delivering services that teach them necessary
behavioral, educational, social, communicative, and adaptive living
skills using behavior analytic methods.
Mission
The mission of Autism Interventions and Resources, Inc. (AIR) is to
provide high quality services in the development and supervision
of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) programs for children with
Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities.
The intensive behavioral modification programs incorporate methods
of Functional Assessment, Discrete Trials Training, Verbal Behavior,
Pivotal Response Training, Social Skills Training, Natural Environment
Training, Functional Communication Training, and Generalization
Training. In addition, specialized programs are developed for
individuals who require Visual Programming, PECS, and Augmentive
Communication Devices. Behavioral and multidisciplinary assessments
are utilized to design and implement effective individualized
programs using positive behavioral strategies that will optimize
the child's level of independence in life.
Philosophy
The philosophy of Autism Interventions and Resources is that children
with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities
have an incredible potential to significantly improve their condition
once an appropriate treatment plan is in place. A multidisciplinary
approach, requiring parent involvement and collaboration amongst
professionals, is necessary to ensure the development of a intervention
that will provide each child an opportunity to achieve at his
or her individual potential. Autism Interventions and Resources
will make this effort to ensure collaboration amongst parents,
school districts, and other treatment providers to develop an
appropriate treatment plan that functions in the best interest
of the child.
