GUIDELINES FOR
EUCHARISTIC ADORERS

1.  Upon arriving at and departing from your holy hour, please sign in the "assigned block" in the register book where your time period is indicated.

2.  It is essential to the success of the Eucharistic Adoration that adorers visit at their assigned time.  Please try to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled holy hour.  Adorers should try to stay for their entire scheduled hour, even though there are may be other visitors present.

3.  At the end of your holy hour, should no one arrive for the next hour, please wait a few minutes, if possible.   If no one has arrived within a reasonable time and you cannot wait any longer, then you may leave.  However, Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament must never be left alone.  To ensure this practice, become acquainted with the adorer in the time slots before and after yours, and make an arrangement to contact each other if there is a problem in keeping your holy hour.

Please do not call the Rectory

4.  When you cannot make your holy hour, please follow the following procedures:

a.  Check with another assigned adorer during your hour to make sure he or she can be there.

            b.  If there are no other assigned adorers available, please try to find a substitute as early as possible.

             c.  If this does not work, please call your assigned hourly coordinator.

Please do not call the Rectory

5.  Please do not store personal papers and/or reading materials in the church.  Also, please encourage others to ensure that the reading materials provided by the church remain there.
