CORE, COMMITTEE, and GROUP POSITIONS:

President: Anne Stone

The president and creator of the Arizona Christian Homeschoolers is in charge of maintaining the Core Focus of Integrity, Involvement, Respect and Friendships. The president is responsible for the overall functioning of the organization, presides over all meetings, assigns members to Core Positions, assigns members to Committee Coordinators positions, shall be in charge of the Core Position holders who are to oversee the dates of activities and functions sponsored by the group. The president shall review and define job descriptions. The president is the only one allowed correcting a member for on-line violations and is the only one allowed removing members. It will be conducted with privacy and with respect. This position is not up for voting.

Vice President:

Is responsible for executing the functions of the President when the President is not available and perform duties assigned by the President except for removing members or correcting members for on-line violations. This person must have at least one year of experience in homeschooling and one year experience with Arizona Christina Homeschoolers.

Secretary:

Is responsible for recording all business that is conducted at the Core Member meetings and shall prepare the minutes of the meetings in writing. This person must have at least one year of experience in homeschooling and one year experience with Arizona Christina Homeschoolers.

Treasurer:

Is responsible for maintaining financial records of this organization, for payment of bills of the organization not exceeding budget authorization, for procurement of necessary equipment, for providing monthly and end of year financial reports. This person must have at least one year of experience in homeschooling and

one year experience with Arizona Christina Homeschoolers.

Committee Coordinators:

Is responsible for taking charge of the group of volunteers who are helping to run the specific events. The Committee Coordinators will meet on a regular basis with the volunteer groups to plan the events and help with overseeing the duties to ensure the events success. Currently there are 6 Committee Coordinator positions:

Party, field trip, special events at park, special events not at the park, yearbook, hospitality.

Committee Volunteers:

These groups of volunteers will help the Committee Coordinators complete the duties to ensure the events success. Volunteers can sign up with any Coordinator whose tasks interest them. We would like a variety of activities and welcome your talents, your work, and your ideas to make each event fun for the group and yourselves. This is a great way to meet more members and to feel you belong and contribute to the group.

Group Membership:

These are the members of the Arizona Christian Homeschoolers. Do not feel that because you do not have an official title that you are not important. We can have all the Core Members, Committee Coordinators and Committee Volunteers and not have a successful group if what we are doing is of no interest or value to you. We would welcome all members to participate but realize that some years, your ability to contribute may vary. Please come and participate in all of our events. They are designed for the entire group to enjoy and participate in.
