My younger sisters are fraternal
twins. Linda, at left, is retired and lives in Severna Park, MD with her husband
John Haller. She's very active in her HOA, and keeps busy staying in touch
with her 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Nancy lives in Denver, CO.
She works in her home office proof-reading books, both fiction and
non-fiction. Her hobby is photography, and she does a lot of traveling
in search of great photo opportunities. She has 2 children and 2
grandchildren.
I have three children, or "kids" as I
still refer to them.

Carol lives in Fruita, CO (near
Grand Junction) with her two cats, and is a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, as well as
part-time farmer and horsewoman. She has 6 horses of her own and
boards several others. She spends a lot of time with a couple in
Fruita -- Buck is her horse trainer and Pat is her riding instructor.
Her non-business travel usually involves participating in distant group
trail rides, camping, or skiing at Copper Mountain.

Mark lives in Atkins, IA (near Cedar
Rapids), where he recently bought an older home in the center
of
town. He's a car mechanic, and keeps busy on weekends hunting,
fishing, and watching NASCAR races with his friends. He's working on
fixing up the house in his spare time, but it's in pretty good shape, so
there's no rush. Mark has 2 grown kids who live in Cedar Rapids.
Here I am with Mike and Kelli, who both work at at Carlos O'Kelly's, a
local restaurant.

Glen lives in Sarasota, FL with
his wife Tami, 3 children, and a dog and a cat. He's a mechanic at the Tropicana plant
in Bradenton. Tami is currently between jobs. She does
database and network maintenance. With younger kids, their time is pretty much occupied
with them and their activities, and visits with the grandparents and
an aunt and uncle who live in town.
 Above
are Tristan, Savannah and Madi on a recent visit to Aunt Carol's in Fruita.
And here's the whole family, on an outing.
My grandkids had a wonderful time with the horses -- they not only rode
them, but learned about grooming, feeding, and of course shoveling manure!
The family went up onto Grand Mesa to play in the snow, and went whitewater
rafting on the Colorado River. Glen and Carol hiked to the top of Mt.
Garfield. A great vacation!
