I retired from IBM in Denver, CO in 1999 -- well, actually at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 1999, just before the much-dreaded Y2K event which turned out to be one of the smoothest transitions possible, thanks to endless checking of programs.

This is me on one of my first trips taken during retirement -- getting my Ocean Fix in San Diego in early May. This was the first of many trips, with lots of adventures along the way.

In 2004 I left Denver and moved to Green Valley, AZ in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, where I'm finding new friends and leading a wonderful life. Please check back from time to time, as I'll be adding new photos, art, writing, and miscellaneous.

When I retired, I began taking online courses and learned to create a website. I wrote a lot of the content, but never published the website. Now that I'm doing websites for my clients, I decided it's high time I finished mine. One of my primary purposes was to write up some of my childhood experiences for my children and grandkids; other readers may find the Childhood section far too detailed. It's OK to skip it! The beauty of any website is that you're able to pick and choose what you want to see and read. Enjoy!
